A trip to memory lane ..

An old mecha/giant robot anime .. (I think its about the same age as voltron). Main character have a giant robot that is hidden behind a waterfall IIRC. He drives a red sports car before combining with the robot. Thats about all I could remember.

2nd anime was about 3 giant robot that could combine with each other.. There's a red, and the other 2 is blue and yellow IIRC. depending on which robot on top, they have different arm, one of them have drills. Sorry, thats about the only thing I remembered from both animes.

The first one is Mazinkaiser, I believe.

I think the first one is Grendizer rather than Mazinkaiser (since the Mazinkaiser anime adaptation isn't old at all). Second one is without a doubt Getter Robo.

Could be - I just remember there was a waterfall in Mazinkaiser and I missed the Voltron reference to the age issue didn't occur to me.

Use iqdb, the image is pretty obvious anyways, by the wolf ears and color of hair.
