What is/are your favorite x-mas song(s) - classic and new?
I figured it's about the right time to ask this. Everybody has started or will soon begin their x-mas shopping (if they're not already done) and the x-mas spirit is rising slowly but surely. My roomate and I just bought a nice christmas tree last night but we have no stand so we're gonna build one later today (the tree is propped up on the wall in the meantime).
Anyway, what is/are your favorite christmas song(s)? It can be old style classical or new and poppy. classical favorite x-mas song: Little Drummer Boy - my favorite classical song. when sung right, it brings out all the xmas spirit in me. I don't know why but it's a cool song. Other favorite x-mas song: Santa Baby - exemplifies what x-mas is all about. tons and tons of presents Last Christmas (George Michael) - it's a sad song but it's one of my favorites |

I like funny Christmas movies.. Like "Christmas Vacation".. But I think most of them are kinda cheesy too. ^^;; I like the kid movies only if they're funny.. But if they're just supposed to be cute I don't like them.
I hate most Christmas music.. Except one song.. And I really don't know what it is. It's not a carol.. It's instrumental music, and they often use it as background music in anime and other movies.. It sounds very.. I don't know how to explain. It sounds mysterious and a bit sad, but not really.. It reminds me of snow. ^-^; I wish I could find it. |

As for Christmas songs, well... the're great.. but i'm not to keen on some of the jolly ones.. to exhubrent.. kinda annoys me, some are ok.
personally for Christmas, which i'm surprised no one has mentioned, "Carol of the Bells" - like the dark, mysterious tone...has that bundled up energy to it. (i think i first heard this and started liking it when i head it on HomeAlone.. i think that's where it was heavily popularized. like when someone says you know that HA song.. what is that song? then ppl think Carol of the bells melody.) of course carol of the bells has been around a lot longer then HA... hehehe.. |
