Need some suggestions from the fall 2006 and winter 2006/2007 season
I need some suggestions on some series that began airing in the fall 2006 and winter 2006/2007 season. Any genre is ok. Preferably the series is completed or nearing completion. If it isn't close to completion, that's ok too...I'll just take a look at it in the future.
These are the shows I know of and already planning to watch: Kanon(2006) Code Geass Le Chevalier D'Eon Not close to completion: Death Note D.Grayman What else is good? Thanks. |

Thanks for all the suggestions! I was worried there might not be too many good shows but looks like I was wrong. Looks like I'll have plenty to watch for awhile! Manabi Strighti looks similar to Azumanaga which I really enjoyed. How is the story progression/pacing for Saiunkoku Monogatari? The first season was 39 episodes and a second season, I hope it doesn't start dragging.

SaiMono has had three or four story arcs in the first 39 episodes, and the main story is just beginning to unfold. I've never been bored with the story, though the enormous cast of characters makes following it on a episodic basis rather difficult at times. After you've watched the first dozen episodes or so, you can visit this invaluable guide to the characters compiled by Kaoru Chujo, but don't visit it right away because it does contains some spoilers. For these reasons, SaiMono probably lends itself well to viewing in a couple of extended sessions.
