A bit late be here are my thoughts on Amethyst 4 and 5.
Amethyst 4: With Zombie Season 2 over, Eucliwood is as strong as she's going to be for the next little while. She took advanatge of her current strength to crush Mizuki and clear the tripling mark. Haruna also did quite well in her easy win over Kanon. Shana and Mio end up having a bit more trouble than I expected against C.C. and Holo. With Shana season 3 over, Shana is supposed to be at her best right now but hasn't been able to dominate her opponents like Kanade has. She'll need to find a way to do better if she want to win the Tiara in a few month. Amethyst 5: In Amethyst 5, Haruna once again has a strong performance but Eucliwood is about normal. I guess Eucliwood doesn't have any opponents anywhere near her anyways. Hinagiku does surprisingly well in being able to get that close to Haruhi. Hinagiku has really looked off her game this year. She's still top 10 but doesn't seem as untouchable by character outside the top tier like she did last year. Victorique puts a very strong performance and manages to take down Mato. Victorique has looked better as of late and currently seems strong enough to make the post season. However, she's not too far from the borderline so every win counts. Slowly, Taiga seems to be trying to pull away from the rest of the field. Nearly 65% on Hirasawa Yui is quite the performance. Taiga may be positioning herself as second most likely to win the Tiara. It's a distant second behind Kanade, though.

Well, well...
1. Starts off with the shocker of Saber upsetting Azu-nyan. Did not see that coming at all. Ongoing series and everything consider, it's not like Fate/Zero brings out anything new in Saber... 2. The second, but lesser surprise in Menma getting her first win over Minami. Okay, Minami only has 1 win, but I thought Menma is weaker than that... 3. Niku get absolutely crush. Eu is still far behind Tenshi in my opinion, though... 4. Victorique lose, sigh... 5. Back to Azu-nyan. With this loss, she's basically knocked out of necklace contention (Doubt she'll win against Shana if she lose to Saber...). Oh well, upcoming round 1. Chuu-ni battle. Don't see Kuroneko losing this one anytime soon... 2. Will see how much Eu destroy Homuhomu by. Of course, facing Homuhomu does not help SDO at all... 3. Yurippe v. Yui-nyan. This should be the end of Yurippe's undefeated run. 4. Taiga v. Mio. Taiga is likely to win, giving her another headstart in SDO. 5. Biribiri has a little bit tougher fight against Yuki. She should also win this match and get into necklace. 6. Saber is likely 7-0 (Come on, you think she'll lose to Louise? This is not JST...), which means she's in as well. 7. Shana v. Azu-nyan WAS going to be interesting, but now that Azu-nyan lose (Seriously, I finally have to say this, ISML voters seriously don't know what they're doing most of the time), this basically mean Shana is the only beneficiary as the winner (and she'll likely win) 8. Last note are the two nice exhibition. First one will determine how crappy the mahou shoujos are, second one? Screw that one, Shana will win it easily. So...necklace prediction (No SDO calculation...I've been lazy this year) Nova: Yui-nyan, Eu, Kuroneko Stella: Taiga, Biribiri, Saber WC: Shana

..... Azusa won't even have to worry about facing Shana for the chance of going to the necklace round. She couldn't even beat Saber! (And to think Mio > Saber and stat wise Azusa > Mio)
Now Saber will be involved in the necklace match Not sure where Mikuru is getting her power from. It looked as if Kyou still had a chance at getting back to the postseason. Doesn't look that way now. Charlotte does indeed win her match against Victorique, but that also means she will be eliminated as well since she will face Kanade. One good surprise though is Tosaka is stronger than Tomoyo... for now.

Count me in on Saber beating Azusa as a surprise. The necklace landscape shifted slightly.
Necklace Contenders 1. Yui vs. Yuri - Last year in the same world, Yui defeat Yuri by a 3 votes. What is this year going to do with them? Yui looked stronger during SE last year, but Yuri is starting the catch up on that strength. I still think that Yui is going to win though. 2. Ruri - I do not really see her losing to Kobato. 3. Eucliwood - She will not lose to Homura 4. Mio vs. Taiga - If Taiga can beat Azusa, she should be able to defeat Mio. 5. Yuki vs. Mikoto - Mikoto will win this one. There goes a three straight year necklace grab. 6. Saber - There is no way she can lose to Louse with what she just pulled. 7. Shana - Shana should be the remaining contender with 7-0, making her the automatic wildcard unless she loses to Azusa, which I do not see happening. Mikoto looks to be the favorable winner in this one. The same thing is going to happen again between Shana and Taiga, leaving a wide open gap for Mikoto to overtake. Unless the Rie faction learns, the split would most likely happen once more. The only other potential winner that can happen would be either Ruri or Yuri, if she beats Yui. but Ruri is the only other girl that can attempt to reach the top stella girls and give them a crack in the shell, but Mikoto should be the eventual winner in all of this. What a performance by Saber! Taking out Azusa is a pretty crazy good performance. Even with Fate/Zero as an ongoing series, I never would have guessed Saber could get too close let alone pull off the win. Saber should try to keep up this level of strength. Mikoto easily gets the job done against Haruhi. Even after winning a Tiara, the reigning champion hasn't lost her touch. It looks like Mikoto is going to the the Amethyst necklace without too much trouble. Shana also does quite a number on Hinagiku who hasn't looked like her normal self since she won the whole thing. Hinagiku does manage to keep her head above the 40% mark. While probably not very surprising, Kasugano Sora gets her first win over Gasai Yuno. Sora is going to try and make it two in a row against Kyouko in Amethyst 7.

Saber defeating Azusa is a big surprise, but then, Fate/Zero is an awesome and very popular anime show, and it's airing right now. And Saber is basically the main female protagonist in it. If that can't cause a strength shift in ISML, then I don't know what can.
Silly as it may seem, Fate/Zero probably has swayed my votes in a few Saber matches this year. I find myself voting for her easily in some matches where I'd once have to think twice about it, and she's also winning more close calls for me. Saber vs. Azusa itself is an example of that (I probably would have voted for Azusa a year ago, but now I voted Saber).

I believe the reasoning for the second exhibition arena was something about Shana/Yuuji's relationship taking a turn for the worse in S3. But I think most people just vote for the characters, not the pairing, so if it's Shana vs. Haruhi this could be bad.
