I thought you would normally look at all parts... and if you do, Shidou COMPLETELY turned into a girl. There's no way any guys would have those types of curves. Incredible science I tell you...

EDIT: Forgot to add, but even the behavior is changed from the usual Shidou. Perhaps it's all a dream on Kotori's side where she want's an onee-chan lol.

Spoiler: When they were at the hot spring, Origami stole Shidou's underwear but accidentally left her own ones behind. Kotori saw them and thought Shidou had developed some questionable tendencies. This caused her to have a dream about Shidou becoming her "onee-chan". So she gathered all the other spirits to (re)awaken Shidou's masculinity. In the end the misunderstanding was cleared up and Shidou told Kotori that he never wanted to be a girl. Kotori thought to herself that if they ever had a chance one day, they would definitely dress him up as a girl. And we all know what happened in volume 6.
