I've tried to use the server list method myself, but it won't even let me join then. Something about "Not using matchmaking" or whatever. I'll keep trying cause this update looks quite fun, but it's a tad annoying.

EDIT: Nvm, it's all actually working now.

For those of you who pre-order Counter-Strike: Global Offensive before August 21st (i.e. before its release), you'll be rewarded with a Geniune AWPer Hand, a reskin of the Sniper's default sniper rifle with the appearance of the AWP.

I had no problems finding servers using the server list method using the following modifiers: sorting the list on number of active players, excluding servers that are password protected and under map I typed mvm.

If I'm lucky I find a server immediately, if I'm unlucky I have to retry multiple times.

Has anyone beaten Advance difficulty yet?

I cannot get past that.

THe second the heavy/medic teams pop up. It's almost impossible to stop so many ubers. As a Pyro I tried to blast them away but while that's happening there are several more teams in their place.

The only advanced matches I've played are at a LAN party, where we're close enough to chat and plan. With a team of 16, we've beaten advanced through communication and coordinated use of power ups. Communication is vital, but I don't know how well it works without voice chat...
