Chapter 20: What Should We Do Now?
Helen and Deneve walked out of the grocery store, now with the mansion burnt to a crisp they had to go back and live in that apartment. On top of that Helen's car had broke down which mean't they would have to find another way to travel until it was fixed.
Helen put her hands behind the back of her head as she held her share of the groceries at the sametime. "Oh this sucks!"
"Helen! I told you already that if you drove your car a lot better and weren't always so hard on the clutch that it wouldn't have burnt out."
"I know already okay! Geeze... Deneve how come you don't have a car?!"
"I already told you, I'm to reckless behind the wheel."
"Oh yeah I forgot you have road rage."
"I do not have road rage!"
Helen smirked at her friend. "Yes you do."
"No I don't."
"Yeah, you do."
"No I don't! Enough Helen!"
Helen found herself dodging a pineapple. "Okay already! I'm sorry..."
The two of them went right at an intersection, which led them to a more empty street. It was the street they both lived on, it was never busy because it was a dead end and not many cars would go that way as it went to nowhere.
"This sucks."
"I know Helen."
"No really it does."
"You have told me already."
As they made it to their apartment building, the scene of nothing going on inside made Helen even more bored than she already was. Deneve could tell by watching her friend slowly get the shakes as they waited for the elevator. It was the same as they had reached the twenty-fourth floor which their room was on.
As they walked down the hall and to the room Helen's shakes started to seem to get worse. "Helen are you okay?"
"I'm fine!"
They both stepped inside and Helen crashed out on the couch.
"You know what Deneve?"
"Let me guess, this really sucks doesn't it?"
"How did you know?!"
"Don't make me throw my claymore at you this time."
Helen laughed, but she realised that she was really starting to make Deneve angry. Their was always a time to stop and Helen had noticed. "Alright Deneve I'll stop, for now that is..."
Deneve turned around and headed for the shower as Helen smirked at her. "I'll stop for now Deneve but I just got an idea." She thought now starting to chukkle to herself.
Deneve had shut the door behind her and turned the water on, it had been awhile since the last time she was home, now was the time to relax for a little. As she stood in the shower while looking down and leaning with one hand against the wall she felt a bit of saddness. She was the one who picked up Galatea's body after, she had put in Galatea's bed. That was the last time she had seen her former leader, or anyone had.
"Dammit why couldn't I do more to save you?"
Just then the shower curtains opened up and Helen was standing their. "Mind if I join in?!"
"Helen what are you doing?!"
"Hey I figured we can save more water if we showered at the same time!"
She pushed Deneve over and stepped in, Helen had snook in and taken her clothes off while the sound of the water was running so that Deneve would not notice her.
"Very clever but this is kind of wierd for us to be in here?"
"No its not we used to do it all the time! Hey lets wrestle!"
"What?!" Deneve yelled as Helen took her down.
Pretty soon they were both rolling over eachother as the warm water came down on them, Helen grabbed the soap and started rubbing it on Deneve.
"Come on Deneve this is fun! Its not like we are doing anything else, or should we?"
Deneve surrendered and let Helen hold her down. "Helen, I'm not in a good mood right now."
Helen flicked her wet hair back behind her head as it was hanging down her face. "You miss Galatea?"
"Yeah I do."
"D'aaaaaaaaw Deneve you had a crush on Galatea?"
Deneve wrapped her hands around Helen's neck and threw her over, now it was Deneve who was trying to make Helen subbmit. "I told you I'm not like that!"
Helen wrapped her legs around Deneve's waist and rolled her over again while locking her arms behind her back. "What? Then what about that time when we both tried to experiment with each other? I thought that was a special momnet for both of us?"
Deneve looked at Helen's grinning face and started to laugh. "Yeah Helen I love you to."
Helen loosened her grip which only aloud Deneve to grab her by the back of the head and flip her over. "Helen don't you feel any saddness from losing Galatea?!" Deneve screamed as she forced Helen's face into the bottom of the tub.
"A little, but didn't you see her?"
"What? See who?"
"You know, Miria?" Helen said as she slithered around Deneve's body like a snake.
"Oh yeah Miria, she could save us."
Helen noticed as Deneve went into some deep thought on this. "Don't give up now Deneve!"
Helen wrapped her arms and legs around Deneve and held her very tight but Deneve was now lost in thought and had forgotten about Helen. Helen did not like it when Deneve got like this it made moments like this boring. Helen pressed her breasts up against Deneve hoping that she would snap out of it but it didn't seem to work. She frowned at Deneve and then kissed her which had finally snapped Deneve out of it.
"Get your tongue out of my mouth Helen!"
"Finally! Hey don't bite Deneve!"
Deneve fought her way out of Helen's hold and started to laugh as she slammed Helen on her back. "Yeah Helen this is fun. Don't you ever tell anybody about this, or that I just said that okay?!"
Helen started to laugh with her. "Don't worry Deneve as long as we keep this up I will never ever need a man! Well mabye sometimes, you know what I'm going to do when I get my hands on that T.J. who had double crossed us? I'm going to throw him in bed and then I'm going to-"
Deneve cut her off. "Helen!"
"Alright fine I'm not going to tell anyone."
Helen closed her eyes and felt Deneve's lips kissing the left side of her face. "Thats not why I yelled your name."
Helen opened her eyes. "Then what?"
"You basically want to have your way with that guy, can I join in?"
An evil smile made its way on Helen's face. "It would be fun that way."
The two of them continued to role over each other and keep on locking each other up until they finally realized they they had started to experiment with one another once again.

Meanwhile as this was going on, Jean and Clare were walking around in the nieghborhood. Now that Clare was living at her moms house, she quickly came to realize that their was nothing to do there. Clare made sure Jean stayed with her, only thing was Teresa would not let Jean keep all that jell in her hair. Now it was down all the time, and Teresa also forced Jean to stop shaving her eyebrows.
"I think it looks good like that Jean."
"I feel like my pride has been taken away from me..."
Clare grabbed on to Jean's hand and pulled her with closer. "Relax we will just find out where Tabitha is staying and go with her because I don't think I can live with my mother much longer."
"You just found her a few days ago Clare."
"I know but I don't even know her, besides I don't think she likes the fact that I am with another girl instead of a guy."
"Alright then that sounds like a good enough answer for me, lets find out where Tabitha went."
It didn't take long to find her as they felt a quick surge of yoki then saw a blur go by them.
"Wait Miria! Its a weekend come on you can spend one day with me!"
Clare and Jean both looked behind them as they saw Tabitha running with tears running down her face as she proved to be helpless when it came to keeping up with Miria.
"Tabitha who are you talking to?" Jean said as they noticed each other.
"Jean! Clare! Its Miria!"
"Oh so thats what that was just now." Jean said looking in the direction she went.
Tabitha caught her breath as she looked at the two girls infront of her.
"Tabitha where have you been staying?" Clare asked.
"I work for T.J. now and in exchange I get to live in his house and hit on Miria!"
Jean whispered in Clare's ear. "She's obsessed."
"I heard that!"
"Alright then." Clare said. "Can we go and live there too?"
"I don't know, their already is a lot of people living at that place. Mabye you can lets go back and find out."
As they started walking together on the sidewalk, Tabitha kept on staring at Jean. Everytime Tabitha looked at Jean, Jean would look but Tabitha would look away before looking again. Eventually Jean felt her viens start to pop out of her head, she really hated it when people did that especially to her.
"Tabitha why do you keep looking at me like that?!"
Tabitha stared at Jean. "Oh you have let your eyebrows grow back! Thats whats different!"
Jean rolled her eyes.
Clare quickly started to talk about something else to change the subject. "So Tabitha why were you chasing Miria?"
Tabitha smiled. "Because I want her!"
Clare and Jean looked dumbfounded at her.
Tabitha gave them a strange look. "What hasn't one of you chased down the other? How did you two get together?"
Jean and Clare looked at each other. "Well..." Clare said.
Jean looked down. "The way we got together is different from what you are doing."
"Tell me! I must know!" Tabitha screamed. "If you don't tell me I won't take you to the place I live now!"
Clare sighed. "To be honest we kind of didn't even like each other like you like Miria, Tabitha. Actually I was only interested in boys, but I saved Jean from a bad car accident one day and after she kept on following me around."
"Its because I owed Clare my life."
Tabitha kept looking at them. "A car crash? I never heard about this!"
Jean looked at Tabitha to. "I didn't care about girls either."
Tabitha's jaw dropped. "What if you two aren't attracted to girls but are attracted to guys why are you with each other?!"
Jean looked up at the sky then back at Tabitha. "This one night when our class in highschool went on a camping trip. Me and Clare ended up getting lost together, we even ran into a yoma and we killed it with our bare hands. After that we had to live with each other in the wilderness for a week before we were found, but one morning when we were in some forest sleeping together we both woke up at the same time and for some reason we couldn't stop looking at each other.
"Jean I think we should probably stop telling her about this, what happens next is kind of private."
"Sorry Clare, in other words Tabitha me and Clare just knew that we should be together."
Tabitha raised an eyebrow. "Well thats a wierd way to go about it. Hey mabye I can somehow get lost with Miria but it would be on purpose! I can get her to be with me!"
Clare and Jean looked at each other again. "So are you taking us there yet?" They both said.
Suddenly a few cars went flying past them on the road. Tabitha smiled at them. "We were here this whole time! Its just across the street."
Clare and Jean both felt like punching out Tabitha for making them tell her about how they got together, so they could find out where she was living now when it was right there.
They crossed the road with Tabitha as she took them to T.J. he was kind of shocked to see them. Especially Clare who he had raced a few times.
"Tabitha why are they here?"
"They need a home."
"I already have two people living here for free."
"Clare stepped closer to him. "We already work, we can pay for rent!"
"I'm running out of room." T.J. thought. "Alright you can stay in the basement, there is a room down there. Tabitha you could go and show them around."
Tabitha started walking into the house and T.J. stopped Clare.
"Could you race for me tonight?" T.J. looked at Flora who was walking to the back. "I'm going out tonight and I want someone to fill my spot."
Clare looked at him. "Yeah, just let me go get my car."
* * *
Much later.
Clare was in her old Corvette and at the line with three other cars, a Focus, Matrix, and a Ion. "Okay." Clare thought. "This is kind of an embarrassment to be racing three piss pot cars like this. Its still for money though."
The race was going to be a quick drag, they were starting at an intersection and were going to the first set of lights.
"How lame, why did I agree to this?" Clare thought as a man dropped his arms signalling the start of the race.
Clare stomped on the gas pedal and her old Corvette beat everyone off the line. When she was past the intersection the other three cars were just starting to move.
"Easy money." Clare said not even bothering to try using any NOS.
Actually she had kept the gas pedal only halfway down so that mabye the other cars could catch up and make it a little more fun. It didn't matter though because she ended up passing the second set of lights first after they went red.
"Looks like I won." She said as she was about to stop but then heard sirens.
Clare looked in her mirror and saw cops chasing down everyone. She hammered it and took off, this time she hit the NOS button which was on her steering wheel. It wasn't long before she had some police cars chasing her to.
Clare started to laugh as she realized what part of town she was in. "I think Helen and Deneve live around here."
Just then out of pure luck Clare saw Helen's Skyline go through another intersection. Clare took a hard left fallowing her through, Helen looked behind her and noticed Clare was fallowing her.
"I'm good at finding people." Clare thought again.
"Its Clare, Deneve! She brought cops!"
Deneve who was sitting in the drivers seat was more worried about Helen's driving. "Why did I agree to getting your car fixed if I lost that match we had?"
"Because you were enjoying it!"
"I guess so..."
Now the police were chasing the Corvette and the Skyline. Helen laughed and pulled over, this confused Clare and she kept on going only to stop further down the road.
Deneve looked at Helen. "What are you doing?!"
Helen stepped out of her car and put her hands up. "Oh please don't shoot!"
Four cops got out of their cars and had stepped closer to her and then she had done it, she stepped forward and jumped in the air doing a spinning round kick knocking one of the officers out. The other three pulled out their nightsticks. As they tried to stop her with them she ended up picking one cop up and threw him into the windshield of his car. Then she went to the other two and knocked them out with their own nightsticks.
Clare had backed up. "Hey Helen that was an easy way to get rid of them."
"You see Deneve, Clare thinks it was a good idea!" Helen shouted. "So Clare where have you been?"
"How about I show you? Come on."
