Damn, I'm so incredibly pissed at the Korean Tournament again. ^_^; It's just so damn frustrating to lose your beloved saimoe girl to a bunch of nae~ chars. I even voted for Suiseiseki twice out of utter despair. Hauu~

I'm gonna bet all on Yuki, Fate and Gin-sama now, given Mai most likely won't survive much longer.

Whoa! tournament has suddenly picked up in intensity.
But I see two good things, Hina and Desu both get relatively easy matches.
Compared to what the other girls will be having.

1.) Rin vs. Nagi - on this match, Rin Tohsaka must triumph no matter what.
I'll be resorting to some "extra" methods again. Like on Rika vs. Nagi on Jsaimoe.

2.) Shana vs. Gin-sama - this will be epic, and probably be the only time they face each other.
Will be waiting for this one.

3.) Mikuru vs. Maria - haven't watched Haruhi yet, so my vote goes to Maria.

4.) Vita vs. Hinagiku - just look at my member title and my sig!! :P

5.) Eruruu vs. Suiseiseki - desu-chan has proved many times, dog girls are no match for Desu power!!

6.) C.C vs. Tessa - funny that both girls are from a millitary inspired anime.

7.) Mai vs. Haruhi - same reason as Mikuru vs. Maria

8.) Yuki vs Fate - expecting thread viewers count to be...very high.

Wrong, they were in the same group in the round of 128 in Best Moe. Suigintou won comfortably, and Shana advanced because she tied with Setsuna of Negima.

*sigh* I'm in Zetsubou that the prevalent attitude is "I don't wanna read the novels - gonna wait for Haruhi S2 to be animated" from what I've experienced whenever I brought up the subject over the last year or so. I can't campaign effectively because it's considered Spoilers to mention stuff that's readily available but hasn't been animated yet.

Mind, the only group that gave me a longer-than-2-seconds pause was Group 2 (Shana vs Suigintou). I know who I'll be voting in all the other groups (any group with Yuki in it is a no-brainer - remember my vow). Trouble is... Yuki would need campaigning if she's to win with only her S1 material. And the match won't be over a weekend either.

*sigh* well, I have RL to worry about too. Can't wander around trying to get everyone I know to read Shoushitsu in this week before the match.

I wish the Saimoe poster-making Anon were still around--the boxing theme would be perfect for Yuki vs. Fate, for which the entire rest of the round is essentially one big undercard.

Yeah, I know, insert cries of inbou! here, but I'm loving the randomizer for that eighth match (even as I'm hating it for the second).

No cakewalks now that we have reached the second stage. The matches will be one-on-one, and this is where hate/tactical voting may come into play, ala JSaimoe. But then again, as expected of Super Moe, epic matches are epic!

My thoughts on the matches:

Nagi vs Rin: Stats say that Rin is the favorite, but I'll be rooting for underdog Nagi as always. Tough match.

Shana vs Gin: Shana is tsundere-licious and I'll be supporting her, but I think Gin is the favorite here. EPIC match.

Mikuru vs. Maria: SHnY main characters are always the favorites in any match they go through, given their immense popularity, but I will be hoping that Maria once again pulls off a miracle escape. Hopefully Gin/Tanaki Rie fans will assist ^_^

Hinagiku vs Vita: Vita is a dangerous opponent who gave Gin a run for her money in their 2007 Best Moe match, and I expect some people to vote against the reigning Best Moe queen. Nevertheless, it is obvious who I will be rallying for ^_^ Hopefully the Runa-Hina debacle will never repeat itself again.

Suiseiseki vs Elulu: The easiest match to predict~desu, and of course Desu is the way to go~desu

CC vs. Tessa Testarossa: Voting for CC, another match that is difficult to predict

Mai vs. Haruhi: Unless gazillions of anti-Haruhi votes pour through, there's no stopping God right now. GG Mai

Yuki vs. Fate: OMGWTFBBQ EPIC MATCH! The acid test for the SOS Brigade. Will vote for Yuki, and she is the favorite here. BUT IT WILL BE CLOSE. and did i say it will be EPIC?
