Grand Blue is getting an anime adaptation!

Plot Summary

A new life begins for Kitahara Iori as he begins his college career near the ocean in Izu city, full of excitement for his new life. He will be moving into his Uncle's diving store "Grand Blue." There he finds the beautiful ocean, beautiful women, and men that love diving and alcohol. Will Iori be able to live his dream college life?

First episode is out.

Btw, there's a new key visual on the official site that is kinda NSFW lol. Great comedic faces and humor as I had expected along with the fan service. The first episode had some great character expressions already.

I had no idea it was coming, and just happened to be butt naked in my sweltering hot room nursing a pint of beer, so it was nothing short of perfect.

It may not have been perfect and a little fast paced, but i am content with the first episode. Those expression and reactions are spot on.

Also the recurring "flammable water" joke, the "Slam Dunk" reference and everything else...........finally a comedy anime without any moe or loli nonsense.

Ah.. Grand Blue (otherwise known as the Hapless Univeristy Nighmare Life of Kitahara Iori) anime has started. Good to see that the anime carried over the manga's vibe.

The comedy was awesome. The reaction faces were great. The girls were hot. This is a keeper.

Pretty sure it's the first time I've seen anime characters drink this much alcohol in just one episode.

That was a great first episode! But I'd be damned if I wasn't worried for those two beansprouts drinking that much alcohol so quickly and so much and so often and non-stoping. Their livers must be this close to committing suicide and half their brains must be dead by now. xD
Otherwise, those pretty girls are to die for! <3
