Thinking about however, Virrey had a handgun, modern looking cooking pans and stoves for Rinslet and Ellis, ships, and they already have showerheads. I am not surprise by it. I don't have enough faith in this author to not see a Claire ending coming, but I'd love to hear whatever silly argument someone can come up with to back up the humans can't love spirits stuff. I can understand Tsunade saying that even if they love each other, the Seirei Tsukai world wouldn't allow them to be together officially.
but to say they can't love their contracted spirit is nonsense.

The school looks fine.

Large glass windows to let in light, a lot of water and probably a complex internal layout.

As described they used spirits to emulate many early electrical technologies, like movies, lighting, heat and running water, for those who can use spirits or nobility who can afford to employ spiritalists.

This is a school for the creme of the creme of noble ladies. The town sounded a lot closer to early industrial/late renaissance small cities. Only cleaner. Normal villages as described in the last book were not touched by spirit usage too much either.

I hope they turn down the tsun on some of the girls. If they only adapt 2 novels most of the girls will almost be unbearable tsun without any dere.

I was expecting something more antique from the school. As an Ojou-sama garden I imagined it like an old building with nothing out of the ordinary.

leaving aside spirit and humans, we do see example of spirit and human together, the proof is the dragon girl. As for others, to be honest, i can't see any other girls end with Kamito except Restia or Est, popularity aside, the interaction from Kamito never have a hint of affection even with Claire, the affection only show with Est and in case of Restia, Kamito show clear possession( this is the most important point) as well as romance. And with the story being this way, most people would feel getting on with Claire because Restia is presumably dead is wrong however you saw it.

The anime will definitely flop but I'm not going to complain much if either the OP/ED are good.

together and romantic are two different things the main reason its so sad is kamito hasn't shown any real affections for the girls at all

Being together with someone and romance can go hand in hand with each other, but it depends on the pretext. It's to be expected since Kamito was too focused on winning the Dance Blade, helping Clare and his teammates, and attempting to get Restia back. Plus the dude being dense doesn't really help matters either "Shrugs shoulders"

Plus with the world about to enter a war and the chaos that devouring the Elemental Lords, is it really an appropriate time for romance at this time?
