Oh man this is it, the grand finale. How will Yoshino top himself? How will Shu's ambition be appraised? How far down the hole will Gai's character go? Will Mana end up naked at some point? Will Daryl get his happy end with Tsugumi-tan or go out Jerid Mesa style? How much dancing around will Tsugumi-tan do in that little computer room of hers? Will Hawt-Mom Haruka's bosom be on display? What can Ayase possibly contribute? All of this and more will be answered as Guilty Crown attempts to wrap up in 22 minutes!

Shh....it's starting any moment now. Quiet please... :3

Don't care about sad or happy ending. I want GC to be logical for at least once.

I did expect worse, but the ending still has a lot left to be desired.
I forsake the idea of having proper conclusion, but past the anticlimatic aspect of the ending, motivations and so forth were nothing close to interesting (in the end, Gai can be considered as one of the worst characters of the series, in term of consistency writing, that is).
If you add the underwhelming "epilogue" with a meager content, errr ok: strictly speaking, a time skip thrown that way was asinine, and even more so when you just have a very handful of characters with... 0 context and afterthought. In a word: terrible.

This episode didn't salvage anything for ths series: it strongly enforce the point the scripters were making the scenario on the fly and basically failed to unfold a "story" to speak of. I would rather classify it as a bad fanfic powered by an amibitious budget, topped with a very bad direction.

So glad I followed the live thread on /a/ for this. The commentary was hilarious, especially the bits with Arisa

Think we're getting an R2?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

If I can say so myself, I think I've summed this episode very nicely with the above. I believe I'll also copy and paste the above when we do a Overall Series Impression thread.

That's cool, nice to see everyone a bit older and step into the 2040s. I always love me some timeskips.
