From this week onwards , the first-airing of To Aru Majutsu no Index is located in a different timeslot. This happened because during the holiday period, the first television airing it had 1 week break, but one channel (it should be either AT-X or Chiba TV) didn't and has now become the first tv station airing the series.

Anyway, what's most important is the new timeslot: Thursday at 13:00 - or 1 PM - Japanese time.

For the recording, in the past the timeslot was on late saturday / early sunday at about 3:00 AM japanese time.

Fmm... As far as Toaru Majutsu goes, this episode gets a 10/10... But because Touma preached again, I'll give it a 9/10... Gotta learn how to cast Silence soon...

And so, Accelerator was defeated. Yay~. The action part (first half) was exciting (and laughable), and the second half finished the arc in a touching manner. Can't ask for much more. Animation is nice as usual... Is what I'd like to say, but you can't let your guard down, or something like the MISSING goggle event might happen again.
Mikoto and Imouto! Wonderful! Fuhihi... Itadakimashou~! At my house!
Mm~, for an anime that likes to add in unnatural lines all the time, I wished they added a few other lines from the novel... There's a few points or so missing... Doesn't really matter to me, I guess, though...

I guess a few points I didn't like about the episode was:
1. All of a sudden... Episode starts. BAM! Accelerator gets punched.
2. The bridge from the first half to the second half was done by an attempt at a comedic scene. Hahaha (stiff laugh), she let him touch her breasts. I'm just bursting with laughter. (stuff voice)
3. ...I know the end was supposed to be touching (and it was), but what was that BGM?! Some cursed song sung by Kafuka?!
4. ...And... What happened to Acclerator?


Tsukkomi Comments:

-Accelerator... read the mood. Big time. And it was so hilarious when Mikoto spent so long explaining the whole thing (to the viewers) while in the background, Accelerator is just creating his big plasma ball in silence. Super mood reading...
Mikoto also read the mood too... Just shoot the damn coin already... (bursts out in laughter)

-Nai, nai. There's no way someone could fly that far from a single punch.

-Leave, Index... Air needs to stay as air, especially after doing nothing the whole arc.

-How did Touma avoid that huge explosion..........

-If only Touma can make all of his lines sound like that good persuasion at the end with Mikoto, instead of always making these annoying preaches (go be a priest or something).

-Accelerator can control vectors, but he can't control the vectors of Touma's preaching... What cruely!

-Good work, Accelerator's voice actor... You really tried. Take a break now that Accelerator disappeared into the void...

-Come to think of it... Imouto said there was no wind, right... When she fought Accel... Yet right after, during the fight with Accel, there was plenty of wind or something...? No, nevermind... I thought about it again... orz... (Pff, someone's going to try and go "Maybe the weather changed between the fights")

-EDIT:
Hmm? Accelerator's wounds disappeared in some scenes... Well, the "wounds" were just made of lines and stuff, so I guess these mistakes will happen...

Preview: IT-IS-HERE!... Chaos time... Blue-Hair proves just how... *cough*
New characters (New characters? What is that? Can you eat it? These guys existed...?) appear.
Kanzaki-nee-chan reappears. Tsuchimikado's turn!
...Yeah... I don't care. I hope this volume ends soon... Don't like it... Bah... Magic side... Tension... dropping... (not high in the first place)... Zzz... Mikoto is the best reason for this volume's existence. Mikoto is.

Wasn't the 'no wind condition' caused by Imouto creating ozone from the her own electro-field? Naturally, she forgot about 'channeling' it when Accelerator was chasing her. Then again, creating ozone in a open environment does not lead to a 'no wind condition' for long...

Edit: I stand corrected. Chalking this up to 'convenient plot device'.

The "no wind" was a prerequisite to her strategy, not the result. She was trying to suffocate him by removing all the oxygen from the area (by turning it into ozone with electricity powers). If there has been wind the strategy would've been pointless since new oxygen would come in from outside. We can assume that she looked at a weather report or something before planning this strategy.

Which of course means that it makes no sense for it to be windy later on.

Touma ended up in the hospital again without much damage this time.

Lucky bastard got to feel that Imouto A cup goodness.

I thought for sec there Index is going for a those cookies Mikoto made.

She settled for a bite of Touma.

Next episode beach ep girls (Index, Mikoto, Kaori) and a new girl or girls.

Did I hear right? Touma's mom? (Kaa-san)

If indeed then the issue of memory loss has not been fully addressed yet.

Was not creating wind the reason the imoutos were spinning the windmills?

Nn? What are you trying to point out?
The Sisters were spinning the windmill to control the wind, but what I was pointing out was that there wasn't supposed to be wind, revealed during Imouto's fight.

Yup, she was acting deredre. And there's a reason for it when you see the next episode. But still, it's good to see the deredre side of our favorite Tsundere!

Agreed, I can't wait for the next episode

This episode was really good too, with Touma being the hero and defeating Accelerator. Also, Accelerator was acting really crazy :O, like more than usual. Although I don't get how Touma survived such an explosion with only a few small wounds and bruises. I have to say, Mikoto is currently the main reason I'm continuing to watch this show
