Stiyl explained who Aleister was to Touma during the Rescue of Orsola Aquinas Arc.

Seriously? I thought he had explained to Touma who was Alexander Crowley, the author of the law, not Alester Crowley, which rein the Academy City.

He was talking about Aleister Crowley, the greatest magician of the 20th century. Not General Director Aleister, Superintendent of Academy City.

BTW, I can't quite remember, but has Mikoto ever referred to Touma by his name? And by that I mean has she ever said his name?

...Is this persona really a 'Thor'? He sounding more and more like a 'Loki' to me... plot twist perhaps?

I don't know, the way he sort of idolize Touma makes him feel like Accelerator.
Basically, Thor's entire behavior is "Touma, you should be heroic, how can you say something so cowardly to me! I am heart broken!"
