Senki Zesshou Symphogear G. End of the Summer for Me
Guys, finally, after a week of delay I managed to watch the last episode to Symphogear's second season.
As for both the climax and the finale were pretty much epic in terms of visualization, musicals, and vitalization, so to speak. Although the Nephilim's first form seemed lame to me, they were saving for the Nephilim's final form to truly being such a mind-blowing threat against the whole of the Earth. Music, idols, songs, and people from all over the world united to contribute together for Hibiki and co. the decisive victory, and Miku did the last honor by sending Solomon's Cane through the wormhole in order to seal the entrance from within. As for Ver, it makes sense that Genjuuro is going to judge him as a human rather than killing the former outright, since that way Genjuuro crushes demented docs' dreams of living forever as a legacy in the mind of all humanity; the guys had it enough with Finé reincarnating throughout history and interfering with humanity's world affairs. We might never know what became of Ma'am, but remember anime rules: No dead body physically shown onscreen outright means that the death of the character remains unknown or unconfirmed. I'm of the opinion that a third season will be necessary not just to continue the saga but also due to popular demand. However, I felt the finalé at the epilogue's ending actually set up a definite closure for this series's storyline. I mean Hibiki states to Miku that she no longer has Gungnir within her body, however, Kanade's song lives forever in her. In addition, Maria let Hibiki kept her Gungnir relic, so I believe the door might be open for more possibilities to continue the story. The ending itself was nicely arranged with that last shot of the Earth glowing gold seen from the outer space, as a golden feather flew by. Good series, good characters, good songs, and farewell forever to the 2013 Summer Anime Season with this show being the last one to finish. |

The 2nd Blue-ray disc for Symphogear G looks nice with TsubasaxChirs in it and I bet the next picture of 3rd Blue-ray disc going to have KirikaxShirabe.

Maybe Miku can get a proper relic and a transformation scene with fewer squicky overtones in the new season?

So…does anyone know where the transformation sequence comes from since eps 9-10 haven't been released on BD/DVD yet…?
EDIT: NVM. The video says it was an extra on BD Vol. 4
