Looks like a Schoolgirl Strikers ripoff from what I've seen of the CMs and its wikia, but i'll watch it anyway since there's something that lures me in watching shows with action girls everywhere. I still wish SS gets adapted instead.

Unfortunately, I have gotten tired of series such as this. And to make it worse this is done by Silver Links "b" team. If it isn't Oonuma Shin, most Silver Link production tends to have boring visual direction. With the source material, they obtain they need to bring life into the series and most of their directors can't do that.
If anything, I'd just pick up Ange Verge again if I wanted a series like this. It kills me that the studio I praised so much has been disappointing me for a while now. |

I liked Ange Vierge myself and mainly I thought its setting is solid, I kind of wished the story could have been done better.

The game is cute as hell and I enjoyed the story for what's it worth. The character constellation is very colorful similarly to Ange Vierge. Not as flashy with weird clothes and eyes though. It seems like people are already iffy on the story's potential, but I hope even if they won't get to see a story they find amazing they will be able to appreciate everything else. Like the characters themselves who are voiced by a stellar cast, and also... well, stuff. I'm already dead set on hyping this every week even if I'll end up being the only one. Kaede is love. Miki is love. Everyone is love.

Its that time again, huh? Or will be, eventually. It already looks better than schoolgirl strikers from designs alone so I'll probably give it a chance when it arrives. Would love if turns out as funny as Ange Vierge.
Also, holy crap, one of those girls is just Miria (Cinderella Girls) with a fang Which is actually a point in its favor, to be honest. |

Well, they don't take baths all day. But apparently someone (or rather, several someones) seems to think they aren't cynical enough. "How dare you enjoy a fulfilling ordinary schoolgirl life?! We must turn you into traumatized war survivors teetering on the edge of PTSD who have to drink yourselves to sleep at night!"
I also notice that angsty new girl with the claw-hand-thing doesn't seem to be in any of the previews or key visuals or other such materials we were shown prior to the series airing. Is she, perhaps, less important than she seems?

If you have a PSVR, this series is actually doing something really cool with the 360Channel video app. The episode plays in a virtual classroom with several of the girls watching:
Spoiler for images:
They actually look at you if you stare at them The app is free on the Japanese PSN store if you want to try it out (you'll need to set up a Japanese account first). This show's not on my radar, but this is quite the unique viewing experience so I'll check it out if they add more eps (it might just be a one-off to promote the show).
