Random Light Novel Recommendation, this one is quite good

Made it to the very last page of Kougyoku Izuki's Garden Lost. It's her first non-fantasy novel and depicts four girls in the final year of high school, divided into one chapter per girl and yearly season. If there's a plot, I suppose it could summarized as "how they graduate", but that seems a bit off. Mostly it's about how they deal with their individual teenage problems, and while it's interesting to see part of the process internally and another part observed in the background of the other girls, I'm not entirely sure I'm the right audience for the book. At least the stuff about womb vibrations had me puzzled.

Dragon Lies for the former, Absolute Duo for the latter. Baffled as to why you couldn't read them considering you have katakana in your signature...but whatever.

I'm surprised Absolute Duo has an 85% in bookmeter...I thought it had poor reviews during its launch.

Probably Dragonrise. There's no separator dot in the katakana.

Ideally, yes. But I took a look at the cover via Amazon and magnified on it. I'm just posting the romanization the way I see it on their cover.

just because there is katakana in someone signature doesn't mean they know it

Just read vol 1 of absolute duo, can't say I like it, I think i'm more on the dislike side for this book =w=
From what I recall the story is about

So the main character enter this academy for people who can materialize their soul in the form of weapons through the implanting of some super technology by "Dawn", and the weapon of our main character here is a shield ( which is weird, because it's use to protect rather than a weapon.) The academy requires the students to work in partners, so our main character got match up with the silver hair girl in the beginning week ( temporarily until the students can each find a partner of their own) *insert life of living with the girl in the same room* Then they ended up being partners permanently *insert permanently living in same room* Then an event 'battle royale" *insert fighting* then stuff happen and they fight and beat a teacher who's level 3. ( the newly entered students are level 1, and the higher level you are the stronger you are, and through things like the battle royale event, you can gain more levels(?)) - Honestly I can't tell where the novel is going with this.....vol 1 basically tell us that the main character is searching for power because of something that happened in his past ( Given hints through his dreams, a fierce fire and a meeting with a certain man along with his sister dying), but there's no clear "goal" here, and what left me felt empty was that nothing much was explained, after I read vol 1 I still don't get what's happening =w= just my opinion really...

Finished Nourin vol 1 last night. It's hard to describe as anything other than a BakaTest clone with a touch of farming make-up. In other words, it's your basic generic romantic comedy with the gimmick being that it takes place at an agriculture high school. Pretty much as terrible as you'd expect, but its popularity made me curious enough to buy it. There were, admittedly, a few pages at the very end about dead soil that were relatively decently written, but it's nowhere near enough to save the book from being awful.

I'm expecting it to be a megahit anime next year, as usually happens when I pan something.
