Somehow, I got the impression from these recent delays and long breaks that the publisher tries to push Watari towards the Yukino end that would probably result in the least amount of backlash, even though the japanese fanbase are quite balanced when it comes to the girls. But if the Yukino end was Watari's original intention, then I still have no idea why does it take him so long, when he time to time suggested in his afterworlds that the ending is near...

Honestly, at this point, I couldn’t care less about who he’ll end up with, if at all. This series has been dragged on for too long. The author has been dramatic for far too long, delaying releases for long and often enough.

“But muh poor anime adaptation” mate, a lot of series don’t even have an advertising/adaptation.

At this point, I just want to see an ending, whatever it may be

I feel the same way. The series was pretty fun for a while but the drama elements, sure there were good bits and pieces, but alot was a massive slog in my opinion.

The series missed its mark for the best ending (no girl is chosen, just ends), now I feel like the author is forced to choose a girl and have the series be remembered for the sloppy harem it became.

what the hell. i came back after another long break to see nothing has changed, still no ending but then i checked and saw this:

"In August 2017, it was announced that the 12th volume would mark the beginning of the final arc. The series will conclude with its 14th volume, which will be published in November 2018."

does this mean it will be a double release? or that in november all hell breaks loose because 13 will be left out?

The 18th of October for Volume 13, and the 20th of November for Volume 14.
But Volume 13 obviously got delayed, and November is the new release schedule for it.
