I've seem Edelweiss refers in Band of Brother episode, but it look a bit different in my memory so I didn't really make the connection. But now it makes a lot more sense.

From my really limited understanding of Japanese and the Kanji. It seems that you can ask question about certain character as well as relationship between certain characters and they'll probably answer it. At least that's part of it anyway

actually Oscar is on friendly term with Jane...I can't for the heck of me figure out why..but potentially very juice details can ensue.


anyway, I've asked my friend to read what its about..Yu Ominae was pretty much correct. They basically received a lot of questions about different characters and their relationship, so they decides to have a special event where users can submit questions to them and they will try to answer them.
The question can be about both the militia and the Regular army, and she will infiltrate Imperial base to get infos too, so which much its open game.


Also if the question is good enough, they will answer it publicly and the person who submit the question will get a secret prize (it didn't mention what it is though)

So guys think of some questions!!!!

Blithe comes across a dead Fallschirmjäger *tear* propped against a tree and he has an Edelweiss flower put through a button hole in his jumpsmock collar.

They stated it was "the sign of a true soldier".

I should get one for my Fallschirmjäger uniform... Don't look at me like that.

Several updates to the anime website today. They added Cordelia, Borg and Zaka to the characters, and it looks like there's gonna be new OP and ED songs soon. Sounds cool.

EDIT: Didn't notice this at first, but Johann is also among the character updates.

I think when watching this it's important to note this is a wildly different take on the story. The conclusion maybe the same, but the path there is not. I'll keep watching but they've taken the wind out of a few powerful scenes now. Glad to see it being subbed again though. Can't get enough of the art style.

I hope you mean the Australian Paratroopers uniform... For German it's an absolute no go.

Paratroopers and an Edelweiss... that's the same as mixing Beer with wine...

I've got a reproduction of a Fallschirmjäger Type 3 Jump Smock in Splinter B camo with matching M38 helmet and cover. It'd be an interesting addition to it for dress up parties.

Where did you get them from? I once had a FJ jump smock, but I don't think it was the best of repros.
