Yeah, I find the manga to be quite a lot better than the anime (though the anime is still very awsome. My favorite anime, leaps and bounds ahead of Naruto and Bleach and the like). I'm sad that there are only going to be like 80-something chapters (from what I heard). Still, I hope to see what Father is truly capeable of before it ends. I also hope it has a nice ending which concludes everything nicely.

What I like about the anime is that it keeps the spirit of the manga pretty well, and it's only when you read thte manga right after watching the anime or vice versa that you actually realize that there are a lot of differences in individual events, due to time constraints and the like.
I've only gotten to the 5th book in FMA manga so far (I'm broke, lol). I watched the anime first. Poor brothers can never catch a break, can they?

Yeah, I didn't realize how different they were until I started rewatching the anime after having read the manga. Big differences. @.@ They're still about the same through volume five, I think, but later on the plots diverge by quite a lot. And Ed and Al still can't get a break.

If I do understand clearly, Spoiler:
Question is : Has Hoenheim plan to do something, or will he just wait for... nothing ? (Or maybe his sons to get killed...) |
