Not quite. Think of it this way: Showing C.C. embracing Lelouch causes people to think more about the past and doesn't really start much. We've seen it before, woopie. Showing Kallen embracing Lelouch would set the internet aflame.

Why wouldn't they be able to do things with her that would be surprising? She's in the hands of the enemy, they can do pretty much whatever they want. I'm not saying that I expect something major to happen, all I'm saying is that if Taniguchi & Co would want to, they could do it... and this would be the perfect time to royally mess with her character.

Why would people think of the past with the first image? Oh right, I forgot. It couldn't possibly ever be something other than that.

Set the internet aflame? Wow, someone is arrogant. The Kallen fans would certainly go just crazy I suppose.

I can't think of anything surprising they could do with her to be honest. Most I would expect is her becoming something like Nunnally's Knight or something.

Maybe you're right. If she is really represented by the cape/banner though, then...
Anyway, Kallen wasn't shown among the first ones in the OP (Suzaku, Schneizel, C.C - and Nunnally), so technically she seems to be getting a smaller role for the rest of it, whatever it'll be.but sicne Nunnally seems to be gettign a bigger role, Kallen may most certainly play a part in it, though exactly how is hard to say.

I suppose I can agree with that if they really want to mess with her character, now is the time indeed...

Does anyone have the picture (screencap) from season 1, where sad C.C. is standing with a teller in her hands and says "Pizza" after the giant pizza landed on the tree?? That was a great cute scene.
