Does anyone have an animated GIF of the "knife-wall-throat, cue blood spurting all over" scene from Meakashi-hen?

I need it to convince someone he should watch this show.

Personally, I would'nt want to use ''that'' to convince someone to watch Higurashi, unless he search for violent and disturbing show.

Well, there's a picture of it somewhere, but there's no gif that I can remember. There's plenty of other disturbing imagery to use I'm sure.

I know I saw one once on F*cking Otaku, but that user doesn't have it in their sig anymore.. D: I'm sure you could find one on Photobucket or something, or someone here could make it.

You might only be setting up that individual for disappointment. After all, the violence occupies a relatively small part of Higurashi and you didn't seem too enthused by it yourself.

Perhaps you should try showing him this instead of what you requested and see how he responds.

You see, my friend is ambivalent about anime, and if there's a compelling enough reason through things like horror, or cyberpunk, or gunplay action, he'll watch a show.

But I've seen him enjoy things that aren't total blood-and-guts, too... for a while, he read the webcomic Red String which is a pretty typical shoujo romance story. With no guns or blowing things up. And both of us read Questionable Content.

He liked Elfen Lied a great deal, and while higurashi lacks the action and isn't quite as gory, it does have the shock value (at least in season one) and a much better storyline overall.

Edit: I still think that scene with the knife is one of the best scenes in all of higurashi-dom. The things Rika said, the act itself, Shion's reaction... all of it came together for me and I was like, "oh my god that is so f*cking metal."
