I'm really impressed with this show so far. It just feels a bit fresh sometimes.

I found myself rewatching some of the scenes where they're driving the tanks around a few times. They seem to have the tank physics down for the most part. For instance when the Pz. IV goes into reverse, the weight shifts forward. They seem to have paid attention to the treads as well. Taut when in motion, sagged when at rest.

Loved the 'BattleZone' reference. I must have put loads of 10ps in those machines where I were a lad.

Ferrari fans must have cringed at the expensive supercar being squished. And how does a school principal afford one of those things anyhow?

Still. I'm not going to worry about 'realism' in this show, such as tanks halfway up cliffs or left in a lake or the fact that they're all on some kind of mega-carrier, it's fun!

You want stupid? Try a Char 2C up for size. One has even conveniently went missing from history. Mobile armor!

(but wait that's my fic's...)

I know the feeling - my favorite gun is the 17-lbr. Excellent range, accuracy and penetration coupled with the ability to use APDS ammunition. Too bad it's so unknown just because it's British.

An A7V could fit an entire tank club . The Archer is a favorite of mine. It's bizarre, and I don't think that any other AFV is designed backwards like that. But it was a lot better than someone might think, and it was a cheap way of putting a 17-lbr into firing position.

For absurdly big tanks, I'd stick with the KV2.

Hey, at least the Type 10 wasn't damaged. Imagine how much that would have cost to fix?

The Char 2C still isn't really that absurd. It was designed to overcome specific challenges in World War I, and if it had at least the reliability of most World War I tanks, then it's construction might be justified. For something that was utterly absurd yet still built, you should look to the Maus (or the A7V ).

How about Mobile Tank for the win?

i would rather want a tank that is Red, and has more firepower.(If you know what I mean.)

Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?
And somehow I guessed that they will fill this show with fanservice, especially that all the promo posters are while girls wear only swimsuits and sit on their tanks... >.<

My favorite gun has to be the M3 75mm L/40. Good enough gun, just not enough to bust a Tiger, but I know better than to badmouth the 17-pdr.

There's also potential for Absurdly Small tanks - the M5 Stuart and M8 Scott and smaller. M1 Combat Car, anybody? :P

Maus in zhe haus! Juhrmann enjuneering, ja!

Funny feeling the Tiger II's gonna be the heaviest we see, though.

As is sometimes mentioned elsewhere: WW2 was the last time tanks were truly soldier versus soldier. MBTs have computers and such helping out. If Sensha-do is supposed to be a martial arts, then one must use one's abilities to achieve, not modern technology or computers to help you on the way.
