The Hokutou no Ken vibes are strong in this show ^_^;;

Seriously, the enemy pilots look straight out of HnK's Mad Max-like world.

Does look amazing though. How many of these are they planning on making do you think?

It will be 3 episodes.

Also, you're wrong to say that it's like Hokuto no Ken. In fact, it's more like Violence Jack's apocalyptic world which predates Hokuto no Ken by a decade, Violence Jack (1973), Hokuto No Ken (1983). Violence Jack is also by the same author of Mazinkaizer SKL (Go Nagai). As for the robots, they're just redesigns of the original garada and doublas from the original Mazinger Z (1972).

Interesting. HnK is just my point of reference for those particular toughs character designs. Thanks for the information

This series looks like a mix of all mazinger stories minus the original pilots only distinct similarities, because they do not want to destroy the iconic image of Kouji and the other characters.

I loled when there was a time for rape even in a robot fight....

Isn't it pre-licensed? Wouldn't that mean they can't acknowledge the existence of subs so they might as well move it anyway?
