^I was just talking about the negating aspects as to not delve into spoilers like you just did and keep it simple.

Lol can we lay off the Index talk here? My bad for starting this. Anyway, even though I personally find the power sort of generic, I also think it makes things interesting and I can confirm that I like where things go in this case. So anyway... yeah.

Well, with exception FW doesn't negate anything, so there is no such aspect.

Uhm the thread contains spoilers? Well wathever.

Episode 1 was iffy. Episode 2 put it in the right place. Hopefully it can keep up the momentum for the rest of the series.

But there is no negation.
FW is pure prevention, not negation.

Negation: pour water on to a match already on fire to extinguish the fire.
Prevention: make the match wet first so no fire can be lit.

No the big difference is that Fool's World has no effect on magic as such. It just stops people from being able to complete spell activation and that seems to be all it does. It is not anti-magic of any kind, it is anti-spellcasting.

I'm sure we'll get a full explanation in tomorrow's episode.

That's exactly what I mean?
Fire is my analogy of magic here.

It's bit of a D series, but I'll give it a shot.
Celica Sensei is cool.
Glen is Mehkey (Meh/Ok)

Also, LOL, Saito Soma did Shadow Joker from Kaitou Joker. He was bit of a chunni. OH GOD! He played a bigger chunni with Ichiya Suzuaku from Quadelia Code

Action episode, we got to see Glenn fighting seriously this time, he's rather analytical in fights. He's not afraid to take some damage either to gain an advantage. So his behavior was from having his childhood innocence and wonder cruelly destroyed by the cold realities of adulthood. We also finally got the OP, in place of the ED this time. Looks like this was the end of what would be the first volume of the light novel I'm sure. I think this series will be interesting to watch, I'll tune in for more of it.

It is just me or it really feels rushed this last episode?
I must say that magic animation part is really nice and glen was like hmm really pale
And again in flashback Sera.
I like it, but maybe because I read before the LN I have sometimes a bit mixed feelings.

This episode was quite nice I must say, despite being a series filled with all the usual generic stuff of any other harem series, there is 1 thing that makes Rokudenashi enjoyable and that's Glenn.

For now there is nothing that change my preception of Sisti even if she helped Glenn this time (that was so incredibly obvious). Lumia on the other hand is much more likeable than Sisti, she's not going around screaming, instead she knows what to do and act in a very appropiate way.

Celica and Lumia are truly the best girls here. Oh that "pale" effect on glenn was so bad that made me laugh. Anyways, good episode.

yup it is rushed again but let's be honest... there is no point in dividing this arc into another episode.. 3 episodes are enough for introduction

Glen went full action here.. and I like how bloody the battle is
Sistina is also doing her best, and let's not forget about how awesome Lumia is
The battle is kinda complicated and I need to pause several times to re-read it again.. but it is good

about the opening, I like it a lot.. Those certain blue-haired girl and long-haired ikemen looks cool and they never forget to include Serica there
judging from the opening, I think we could guess how far the adaptation would be
I'll prefer if they include more students in the opening though.. not only those 3+Serica

So, if I got it right, blonde guy couldn't move from his small circle and kick kick dying Glenn? So, if he need to stay there Glenn instead cannot move him out with kick, because everything would explode?

It seemed like Huey wasn't much of an antagonist, hence his passive attitude towards Glenn.

Yeah, they were rushing things, but I would guess they really want to get 4 books in, and at least they covered all the vital elements.

The magic flashies were pretty good, but I think this work's voice acting (again) isn't all that it can be. Something just feels off about it - like you didn't expect him to quite take that tone when saying things, and that weakens the selling power of the scene.

They're rushing abit, but I suppose its better than stretching this arc another episode or two.

With the reveal of Glenn's backstory, so he's basically a slightly better adjusted Kiritsugu. Heck their styles of combat are similar too, a mage that doesn't exactly fight like one.

Methinks that the OP spoils quite abit.

So far it's being enjoyable. I'm impressed taken into account this is a harem LN adaptation that normally ruins the magic theme for me. I'm glad i gave it a chance. You guys were not wrong... Glenn is totally worth to follow
