On that note:

One thing that NEVER made sense about "Galvatron" since the 1986 Movie,

Megatron is much too proud a warrior to ever admit to being anyone's slave, and yet in openly and proudly calling himself Galvatron, a name Unicron gave him (even YEARS after Unicron's dearh),it's like he's ADMITTING that he is Unicron's Slave.

Does not make sense considering that he's just Megatron with a purple paint job, does it?

Judging from how Galvatron acted through the rest of the series, I think Unicron reprogrammed him. He has some or most of Megatrons memories, but Galvatron was the new personality (perhaps even a shell over Megatron to keep him in check). But then after the Movie....Galvatron is mostly insane anyway. He's much more reckless than Megatron. The insanity might have been damage (he is really unhinged when Cyclonus and the Sweeps come to get him form his "plasma bath") plus Unicron being "mostly dead" plus personality dispute between "Galvatron" shell program and Megaton's core program/personality. (Cyclonus, Scourge, and the Sweeps seem to have no personality problems....but then the theory goes that the transformers they were recycled from were dead, while Megatron was still alive. Yet they seems to have memories from before...somehow.)

But then, the Beast Wars Megatron was always seemed more entertaining to watch that either Megatron or Galvatron. Mostly because While he was slightly insane, he was also much more calculating and arguably successful than the older Megatron...with much more limited resources. Though admittedly the original Megatron did conquor Cybertron millions of years ago and due to things happening, held if for 4 million years until after he became Galvatron. It was only then did he finally lost Cybertron to the Autobots (due to Unicron sort of destroying the Decepticon defenses and driving them leaderless away while the Autobots rolled in to save the day....one imagine the civilians would welcome the Autobots for taking out Unicron at that point).
