O.o he doesnt like humans thats the bottom line...im not sure about him trying to control humans underground...its more like hes still trying to kill humans but are having a hard time finding all their "nests" :3 edit: ~ he means nia...after watching to the end she said so herself that her father had always locked away his emotions...i wonder why

Going so far to seek for light, even when it brings death. How desperate... For it to be so characteristic for human beings, that is... |

Nia doesn't know any other humans, and her definition of human is due to Simon's description, so I don't think we have definite proof that the Spiral King is human, yet.
@Deathkillz: I know she is moe... I'm trying hard to resist |

Meh, nyoro~n subs are not the best that's for sure (using swear words to translate a Sunday morning kid's show? That's bad fansubbing ethics). Kamina-subs are better but they seem to be dead at the moment.
As for the Spiral King's speech abt seeds and stuff? Gotta go back after work to rewatch that segment to confirm. |

Nah, it's very obvious that Simon is going to wake up from his emo-state and save Nia from that Adiene. It's so obvious that Simon is going to be in "I will protect you Nia" mode for the rest of this arc.
As for Yoko, she's still in denial of Kamina's death and thus she lashes out at Nia for being a beastman. It's still too early for Yoko to develop feelings for Simon now. |

It really does make you wonder considering that Yoko is 14 that kinda makes me feel she will develop that way, but I could be wrong. |

Hmm, I think this has been debated heavily but Yoko is (very likely) not 14. The official site states that she is of the "same age group" as Simon and that means anywhere from 14 to 17+. My guess she's 16. I don't know anything abt what prior interviews with the scenario writers say but as of now, that's what the current official site states. If anyone has to be 14, that would be Nia... although we can't say for sure what lifespans the beastmen have.
