But this isn't volume 6, this is a prequel telling the story behind Ex Machina and Xuvi.
How is it not Volume 6? You can recognize different parts of Vol 6 from the PV.

I am somewhat amused they decided to actually adapt the great war the same way Vol 6 did, with Tet narrating everything to Izuna. I wonder if it still counts as a prequel in that case? lol.

It seems the characters from this NGNL movie are voiced by the same actors as their modern day counterparts.

Spoiler for past and present:

Emperor Wakamoto OR Blackbeard as Artosh, please.

Yeah, I can tell that it is the story from volume 6 based on that PV.

It is probably my favorite volume due to its epicness.

If July 15th is Roadshow though....it may be still quite a long while before BDs appear. Unless your cinema screens it ofc...

Read my last post, I know is volume 6 but I was confused by some bits.

I wonder if they're gonna keep everything in the same way as volume 6 considering what Madhouse is doing with mahouka.

To be fair though.... Riku + Xuvi initial meeting is described in 6. It's more of a question how far they'll go. Cover 6 all the way or partway

I think they're covering the entire volume.
Spoiler:

It wouldn't make much sense to go only partway since this is only one volume.

That was probably one of the best PVs I've ever seen. NGNL also already had a pretty unique art style, but the movie budget pushes it to a whole new level.

The TV anime covered 1 volume each in 4 episodes which is 90 minutes long. So they should be able to cover the entire Vol 6 in a 90-120 minutes movie.

I personally liked Volume 6's story alot, I hope it's movie form does it justice. The PV looks sufficiently interesting enough.

Since it's announcement it was told Vol.6.

There was no room for doubt there.

Last Friday, we got a special reinstatement of one episode of the famous "No Radio No Life" again. Except we got kouhai-senpai pairing (Matsuoka-Hikasa) for our persoanlities instead of our usual One-True-on-screen-Pairing Matsuoka-Kayano. It was still helluva fun in a different way. I mean, who can get bored with Hiyocchi around? That omake on the potato story though

This Friday, we'd be yet getting again a special reinstatement of the legendary nico-livestream talkshow for NGNL with the OTP as our personalities again. \o/ If you have premium access to nico-live, mark this down: http://live.nicovideo.jp/gate/lv298509145
