Hmm...is just me or anime robots in gundam never changed?...always the same odd look, very few attractive, way too blocky for my taste

I think they're fan-made. The colors are a little brighter than what I remember of official illustrations, and there are some very awesome Gundam fanartists out there. Anyways, that's just my hunch.

Definitely fanart, as the lines they use are much straighter and cleaner than what you'd normally fine in official art. Also, don't underestimate the skill of fanartists... sometimes they make images far better than official art.
