Considering how substantial the first 3 announcements were, I think the next 7 will be worth waiting for. These aren't trivial announcements so far.

The one who make BiriBiri as the heroine of railgun manga instead of Kuroko.

maybe one announcement is the LN's getting Translated to Localizations? English and other langs. But if that's the case then Baka-Tsuki has one less thing to deal with, if I'm not mistaken.

In all fairness, likely a good call. Kuroko works way better as a sidekick than a main and considering Railgun primary target audience is female, trying to sell a lesbian lead would have been tricky.

I wouldn't mind reading a detective work of Kuroko and judgment and in the manga she is less bitchy and lesbian than the anime counter part.

Plus they change Kuroko to Biribiri because it would gave more leeway in making a story. Though like I said. I won't mind a detective work because those genre's are one of my favorite.

No way. The announcements need to have SOME relevance to Japan.

Also localizing the Index LNs are far too risky and wasteful. Its not like SAO and Accel World which have less than half as many novels as Index does and far more popularity.

I doubt Index would be localize. Its not that popular and mainstream to be localize in states.

I don't mind this. As someone who likes Mikoto and dislikes Kuroko all around, it definitely caught my interest in Railgun when it wouldn't have if it was Kuroko.

agreed, detective series are among my favorites as well.

Kuroko always was a level headed detective-like character who wasn't way too much powerful so making her face different characters of her same level wouldn't end the fight with her overpowering the enemy like Mikoto cuz she will have to rely on equal circunstances, just how many times in the manga(and novels) was Mikoto on a fight where both sides get hurt?

Btw, Kuroko's lesbian antics became annoying because of the anime.
