I think Gentle would eventually realize this was a bad plan to begin with. He thinks crashing UA's culture fest will make future heroes tougher. Here is the thing they have already been attacked several times by real villains and has proved their mettle.

Oh there will be a fight but Gentle would realize he is a ratings jerk for crashing a kids' party. That he has lost his way.

Goodness, it sure didn't take long for that encounter to happen! Honestly though, I'm sort of not expecting there to be much of a fight, if there's even one at all. Most likely, Gentle will make a quick escape and be forced to improvise on his invasion plan. Still, maybe we'll at least get a glimpse of Deku's new gear in action, hopefully....

Huh, for a "nonviolent" criminal, Gentle has a surprisingly strong ability.... But that makes him all the more better as a guinea pig for Deku to test out his new skills, I say! And on that note, our young hero is holding himself pretty will against the villain so far. Still, I'm sure Gentle and/or La Brava still have a few more tricks up their sleeve....

I fucking love Gentleman such a dork but fairly strong. Also Gentle calling Deku crazy and wanting to retreat, so funny.

Side note; have any of ya'll noticed the artwork is slightly different? I can't quite put my finger on it but it just seems off, did Hori get a new assistant?

His ability is indeed pretty strong, but he seems to be using it mainly defensively, so he's still a gentle man!

Deku is still breaking his fingers, isn't he? He screamed after using his attack. I thought the gloves might protect them.

I wondered about that too, but if you look at Manga Stream's version, he is shouting in triumph because he hit Gentle.

Yay, Deku succeeded at his mid-air finger flick of doom. So Gentle's ability is elasticity, which is why Deku's initial charge rebounded so much. Nice to see Deku fighting, once he gets the hang of it, he should be quite a mobile and powerful fighter.

Good thing Deku got his provisional license, exactly for situations like this. Though he's got to worry about not making too much of a ruckus either, or else the festival will be shut down.

A similar thing happened during the Provisional License exam. The students form the other schools identified Deku as the guy with a very destructive Quirk that causes damage to his own body.

Poor Deku, he's doing everything he can to keep things quiet but Gentle wants as big a spectacle as possible (after he's broken in). And now to see what her quirk is. Hm, I wonder if anyone else will arrive in time to help Deku, as otherwise Deku is sure in a pinch right now.

Gentle may call Deku tenacious, but pretty much applies to himself at well, at this point. His infiltration plan was ruined, yet he still stubbornly decides to invade the school anyway, consequences be damned! Well, his tenacity is something to be admired, I suppose. I also like that he didn't intend to crush that old man with the beam (again, showing how different he is from vicious guys like Shigaraki). And now it's La Brava's turn to show off her quirk.... I'm certainly looking forward to checking out Femineta's ability!


BTW, I sorta wonder if there's more to that old man than being an innocent bystander..... I mean, he went to the trouble of following La Brava to the construction site and risked getting seriously hurt or worse. Surely he couldn't have been motivated purely by curiosity of watching a movie filming up close!?
