OMG!

I sure regret seeing that "bird eating" scene while eating a warm fresh sub ...ok somehow I made it passed that scene....with my dinner still where it properly belongs

However, I'm hooked, the bacteria are cute, and have great manners... heck they even bow! Even honorable

The cute interactions with the molds at the end was awesome - got to LOVE the sarcasm also "you're mold too"

The little round, budding microbe is actually a yeast, not a bacteria (eukaryote vs. prokaryote) But I still want it any way! *glomps*

Hmmm... I'll try this out and see if it's my cup of tea using the .avi version of episode 1 that Shinsen Subs released.

EDIT: Watched it and I do believe that it is my cup of tea! Interesting premise and I'm interested in where this will go...

Episode 2 appears a bit whashed out for some reason, you know, a bit whiter than it should be, anyone else notice this?

I'm watching BSS's version

Arrow

I nearly gagged when I heard Canon in D being played as the BGM during the opening scene of Episode 01. Sad Boys in Yeast? Thankfully, it only threw me off a little.

Watched [Shinsen]'s version and it has been a while since I laughed at the fansubber's credits,

OP Karaoke : Three formerly sane people
ED Karaoke : Three people who've since lost their minds

Given the nature of the OP and the ED, I sympathise with their pain in overlaying the Karaoke over each frame.

Pretty entertaining show. I just hope the technicalities do not kill the fansubbers doing it.

Cheers.

For me, this show feels a lot like Yakitate!Japan, but with microbes instead of bread and microscopic vision instead of solar hands.

Liking it so far.

I think this show proves that anime can make anything cute and interesting.

Even though this series deserves a much bigger following, it's good to see that there is quite a bit of a following here. I think as the show continues on, the following will definitely grow. It keeps getting more and more interesting! It's definitely one of the most (if not the most) unique series being aired at the moment!

I've never had so much fun learning stuff. This show is great! The idea of sake brewed from the spittle a bloke is rather off putting....

Never ask what something is made of until *after* you've enjoyed it and had a chance to rest
