What is this, 1995? Get an e-reader, then you can have a huge "library" with zero clutter

When they first came out, I thought there was no way I'd want to give up the feel of a book in my hands and the smell of paper but eventually I caved to the great convenience. Sold off/donated my hundreds of novels and now it's all e-books for me and I love it. The only thing I still deal with paper is manga. E-ink manga just doesn't feel right to me for some reason.
I'd still have to pay almost 9 bucks, which is a lot compared to a Crunchyroll or Aniplexx subscription. I'm not even sure the price I just said was actually for the LN, it looks more like it's the manga Tbh.
My E-Book reader, if I ever have the time to read a book to begin with , is usually Amazon Kindle btw... On my phone

An e-reader has it's advantages, one only has so much space in their domicile after all..........

At the end of the day, as an anime only person, I'd rather sit back (or lay on my bed) and enjoy watching an anime to relax and enjoy. As much as I used to enjoy reading a book, there are enough things I have to read on a computer daily. Reading more at the end of the day just seems like more work, and it also takes up more time than just watching an anime.

I do wonder why Diablo doesn't take his whole harem along, including Klem? Diablo and his harem can probably wipe out an army, especially considering that they are going to the capital to face one.

forgot to say.. I find it funny that Klem wants Diablo to use Apocalypse Abyss (very powerful spell in season 1) simply to destroy the gate. She is truly a demon lord. lol

The weird thing about Grasswalkers is that they don't age past a certain point, meaning the idea of adding one to a harem has its issues. That being said, Sylvie's way better than Horn... She's a high-level veteran adventurer, and she's legal (implied to be around Galford's age). Her background is pretty impressive too, but spoilers aren't allowed on anime threads. It's a pity she doesn't really have a role this season.

I remember how the manga dealt with that Laminitus scene. It took all the innuendo in the light novel had with "horns" and "arms" and depicted it literally. It was soooo weird.

Thankfully, the anime just did a little bit of fanservice and then cut it short.

I think it's cute that both Rem and Shera have matching fake death scenes over trivial stuff. As much as they bicker, that's the kind of stuff that shows what a great pair of friends they make .

The group aren't even through the front gates before they're acosted by guards, but thankfully Alicia returns in all her big boobed glory to help them get access to the capital. She may be under house arrest, but she has plenty of money and resources to throw around to help her beloved Demon Lord Diablo .

Rem, Shera, and Horn think of wedding dresses and marriage in their future and they all turn to look at Diablo...honestly, I think those collars could pass for solid chokers .

At first glance Alicia may seem like she's toned down a bit from season 1 but she's still a pretty big Demon Lord simp and knows how to throw Diablo off with her feminine wiles (and she can even get Rose to accept her), and she'll take any opportunity to proclaim the need to purge humanity. Why are the crazy ones always so hot ?

Lovely ladies sleeping in their evening wear !

Turns out Rose as a maid bot needs up close and personal time with her master, to the point where she's just been sitting in bed with Diablo with him unawares, but then she starts stripping and presenting her 99% naked backside so Diablo can thrus...I mean, pour his magical energy by fingering her holes while feeling up her butt and thighs, and that's both as literal and not as literal a description of what Diablo does as I can think of .

Poor Lumachina...she's coming to understand just how vile and corrupt the church has become, but she doesn't want to give up until she's used every official means at her disposal to redeem it. She can't just give up and believe any person is irredeemable or beyond salvation. I respect that, even if it's faith that doesn't end up being rewarded .

I guess I have to give the church credit for style by having a giant floating fortress instead of just a normal church building. Kind of makes them look more evil, but still impressive .

Lumachina tries to excommunicate Vishos by throwing all his crimes at his feet, but Vishos turns it around and then tries to frame Lumachina as the guilty party and has Diablo and company seized. That definitely didn't go well. And it got too much for Horn as she bailed and ran away, but I'm hoping that's a set up for her to come in for a save at a pivotal moment .

Well, I wonder how long it'll take before Horn gets that lovely collar around her neck... The admonition about marrying someone while bound to someone really doesn't mean much if the someone you want to marry is the same someone you'll be bound to does it?

And yeah, it was kind of given that the villain would turn it around and make her look like the bad guy. Might have even been part of his plan: get her to run for her life and fear the other church officials that might be under his pay, and he can claim that this "flighty" girl had run and hidden from the church to satisfy her own base urges. If she dies, that's an obstacle easily eliminated. If she survives, simply by fighting for her own survival she discredits herself and any accusations she brings against him. With the level of control he has he should be able to do anything and keep the people worshipping him right up until he manages to summon that demon lord we saw in the OP.

Ok, that one got a bit weird at the end. Maybe a pacing issue. I thought it was almost comical how Horn just bailed. I'm sure she'll come back and that will be helpful later. But she just bailed out and no one really had much of a reaction to it.

Classic scenario where the villain is going to win no matter what you do. Makes sense of course. Lumachina's straightforwardness and honesty might appeal to Diablo, but it isn't helping her get out of this situation. Completely fair for Vishos to look down on her since he managed to beat her with a "no, you" argument. She literally had evidence and the knowledge that she was right and yet the moment she was confronted with total BS she crumbled. Not that it isn't shocking how a person might fall apart there. Don't think I'd do much better.

There's no doubt she's suited to run the church though. Only divine intervention can explain her surviving this long .

Suppose it is nice to see that Alicia hasn't lost her genocidal streak. She is still pretty consistent. Although it does seem as if she's gotten over the guilt she felt over her previous actions.

I've skimmed the LN and I believe there Diablo said something to her or something, basically letting her know that, given the fact that she's a grass-walker (a race with extremely low close-combat capability), and a Seeker (a non-combat class), not to mention extremely low level compared to the rest of the party and the paladins attacking them, it'd be better for all of them for her to just get out of danger fast.

Oh, I must have missed that part. I thought it was like every other loli in these types of things; looks like a kid but is old lol

Yea, that part does burn me up. They price ebooks way too high. It's not like they have to print, store and ship them. I've actually seen instances where a mass market paperback was cheaper than the Kindle version. That's nuts.

Yea, I found that pretty funny as well, esp the lack of reactions heh.

Seems like a pretty dumb move on the V guy's part (can't recall the name, Vish something heh). Lets take the whole party of super strong people and bring them up to my abode which, until then, was formerly well insulated from attack being up in the sky. I assume Diablo can fly, but still... why make it easy for them.

Why did she even come if she wasn't willing to actually fight for her beliefs?

I think it's really a matter of her being perceptive. She ran because she knew he had a lot of influence and power, and the same thing here. She didn't back down because he accused her of debauchery and running from her duties, she backed down because she saw the reactions of the people. He had so much influence and control (and gained even more due to her absence) that just a few words had these people coming after her. On top of that, she wants to do this peacefully. She believes in the church as a source of healing and protection, and to shed blood there is unforgivable. Saying that she's inferior because she wouldn't raise a hand against him is kind of insulting to all the pacifists in history.

I think Lumachina was just trying to fight in her own way, which involved excommunication and trying to do things "properly," it just wasn't as effective when Vishos turned the tables on her .

Luckily Diablo is there to make up the difference .

She didn't just not hit him, she didn't argue. She just let him get away with saying whatever he wanted and went along with her arrest. So, again, why did she even bother to show up? Did she seriously believe she only had to show up and say a few words to solve everything? If that was true, she'd never have needed to run in the first place. That's not being a pacifist. That's being dumb.

What is there to argue about? She already madr her point. Starting shout, cry or making excuses would just play into that guy hand.

Lunamachina didn't lose because some obvious mistakes. She lost simply because her opponent played better.

Again, she wasn't just reacting to his accusations, but to his confidence and the reactions of the people around him. It became almost immediately obvious that the people believed in him to a sufficient level that they would turn on her. Not to mention that his accusations were probably more believable in the public's eye. Easier to believe that one young lady decided to duck her responsibilities and have some "fun" for herself than that a priest who'd been supporting the people for years and years was really using the people who came to him and killing anyone that interfered.

And anyway, it's not like her fight is over. She simply decided that it would be better to allow herself to be arrested than to cause more chaos that could lead to injuries out there in the midst of the common believers who merely came to pray.

All of which were predictable. If she didn't have a plan for that, she shouldn't have come in the first place.

You know she's basically pope. Her word should be above everyone else. That she wouldn't be believed by people she served is not something she would expect.

Well potentially becoming martyr would be bad tactic either. Not that Diablo would allow it.
