What are the areas? I know there's classrooms and dorms, but what else?

Mostly arena and other I.S, related facility, as well as a dock that occupy about 15% area of the whole island.

The rest is beach and woods.

Roughly half the student, give or take, are foreigners.

Most probably no, or if they did, the tuition wouldn't be really expensive (otherwise, normal student' can't afford it) since it's explicitly stated that japan is funding it. (though my first assumption is that other countries are...errr, giving contributions)

@Eratas: Sorry for taking so long to respond (trying out the Multiplayer part of Mass Effect 3.... I got no skillz so I end up finding engineer useful than Solider or Vanguard) Anyway, still working on the story though.

Will make a Three Act Structure tomorrow.

Well my intent was for anyone to maximize/exploit the full potential, no matter how absurd or dangerous it is, of their systems.

Imagine an IS being surrounded by enemies, and in the heat of the moment, either the pilot or some guy on the ground begins an in-combat modification of any part of the system to do something it was not really intended to do (safely), like firing a Inertial Canceller-canceling pulse to take down the enemies, but the have almost the same damage/penalty inflicted on the said modder.

That will took a while to explain, but as you said, the tech in I.S are wonky.

I have rechecked some part of the novel, and found that the tech is a bit... wonky.

Putting it short, in Canon I.S. has limited endurance. Whether it's firing beam cannon, or even... watch for it, engines, will consume energy. To charge the energy they need to rest (indicating that the core output is not high enough to sustain materialization).

Assuming this is the case, by technicality they can generate bullet on a whim, but in practice, they'll took a good amount of energy creating spare magazines therefore they have limited ammo per engagement.

Which made it even stranger, in Sacred Twins I.S. are established as having virtually unlimited endurance, despite not hyped as canon counterparts.

I meant Charlotte's revive. It uses physical ammo, not energy.

Remember that how they work in the first place, Data -> Material, and this conversion requires energy. Therefore, she need energy to regenerate bullets.
