After the train-wreck that was the last season, I'm not sure if I should watch it at all - I might just keep up reading blog entries or discussing it with people. Geass ended on a horribly sour note, and while NewType is never to be trusted fully when it comes to pictures, I can say that Suzaku's look, the fact that we see Zero (not Lelouch) and that weird male Nunnally do not look promising.

Here's hoping a yet un-named Gurren-Lagann like show will appear in April to provide the ever so epic foil. :|

Speaking of Nun, she and V.V. have vanished as well, yet Suzaku remains, something tells me Zero is C.C.

Naw, see, actually Zero is the new kid on stilts. Suzaku is actually Lelouche in disguise and the new Zero works for Britania. Then Zero announces that he's traded sides, Britania using that as a ploy against the Knights, making reconciliation w/ the Black Knights all but impossible for Lulu. He will have to confront the Order as himself, revealing his identity, take alot of heat from the guys, then be abandoned for awhile. Suzaku wakes up in a Britania lab and discovers he's been fused together with none other than ORANGE-kun. CC doesnt remember Lulu and after attempting to regain her memories discovers she's a robot. Kallen assasinates Suzaku, w/o knowing that it was Lulu in disguise, but luckily it was really Suzaku, who WING'd an operation to seperate from ORANGE-kun. Then everybody does the happy dance b/c CODE GEASS SEASON TWO WAS FINALLY CONFIRMED AND FOR THE SPRING!!! YAY!!!

Personally I'm kinda glad. I was sorta afraid when I heard that the staff itself didn't even know the form in which Season 2 was gonna appear. I hope they don't pull a School Rumble, and not finish the story. But judging from earlier rumours that Code Geass will air during the "break" for Gundam 00, I'm guessing we won't get anything more than a 26 episode series.

Lets just hope it's as friggin good as Season 1. I wonder if it'll still be subtitled "Lelouch of the Rebellion" or if the title will change and have a new main character with Lelouch acting as a side one?

Well by 23-25ish he's pretty much thrown off the false mask he's been hiding under ever since he killed his dad. Supposingly he's back to the same kid that Lelouch originally knew him as.

Interesting to see what rank he's got now.

Nunnally, personality-wise, is actually a lot like Mao, except she had Lelouch with her after their mother's death, while Mao was alone. Also, when she was little (not sure if this is canon or not), she would destroy things (like rip things up) when Lelouch was not around. I wonder what she would be like being away from her brother for a year with V.V., who is obviously not the nicest character ever.

AFAIK, the novels aren't canon.

still, there was some 'dark nunnally' evidence here and there in season 1 and related interviews.

and given how many of the characters in the first season had 2 pseudo-personalities or more, wouldn't be surprised at all if we got to see Nunnally's other side this time around.
