I like Fiore's reasoning for wanting to revive the ideals of old hell. Demons are symbols of evil and chaos, and when you take that away from them, are they really even demons anymore? Plus a world without chaos would be boring to live in.

So it turns out the entire time they were collecting runaway spirits, the squad's true mission was to locate and confine any goddesses. Gotta love plot twists.~ =)

The New Devil regime is more of a counter revolution. The Old Devils messed up the balance of soul recycling system. Hence New Devils allied themselves with Goddesses to restore that balance.

Awesome chapter, feels almost like the next chapter will be a battle shounen chapter with epic battle scenes lol (Sorry I've been watching Bakuman recently)

I can't wait till next week, I'm happy TWGOK doesn't run in Shounen Jack... I mean Jump lol... or else I'd be waiting an extra week for another chapter.

Wakaki is capable of doing a shounen fight scene, since his previous series was actually a shounen battle manga. Not sure if a detailed battle would be appropriate for this series though...

Fiore is 100% screwed.

She has already lost Old Hell's trust when attacking alone a goddess instead of monitoring her to find the others. She even failed at it.

And then, she revealed many crucial infos to the enemy.
There's no way for her to stand against a full powered goddess. Even with cursed weapon, she won't be able to fight against psychic forces.
And this display of power will surely attract Diana's attention, who might join the fight if it turns ugly.

Fiore will either be silenced by her own side, or join Keima's side to survive.

Or maybe remain in the shadows to get personnal revenge at the worst time possible, the worst way possible (to kill Yokkyun's scenarist just after the sequel's announcement

)...

Tenri is staying put like Keima told her to, being a faithful girl she is. But Diana's personality would interfere with that, so they'll come out when the plot needs them to.

i'm not so sure maybe a more powerfull Vintage's demon is watching her and also Akari and sensei who knew from the begining that fiore is a weak demon were waiting on an oportunity like this to strike

That is not to say I hated the chapters ever since. In fact, I'd say I loved most of the events that happened thus far. We got to see a more caring side to Keima, had revisited the older characters and given them further development, the comedy was great mostly and my favorites (Yui and Tsukiyo) ended up in the spot light again. There was a lot to like, and this should've been an easy sell to me. But I have found myself constantly disliking the direction this arc had taken with Kanon being sacrificed for the sake of the ''plot'', Keima making really dumb decisions and the false sense this arc tried to frame these events as an actual search when it wasn't (and honestly, it shouldn't at least not in this manner) But I must say, this chapter was thus far the best chapter of this arc thus far following the stabbing incident. It wasn't exactly on the same level as Hinoki-becomes-Godzilla-oh-my-god-sh*t-just-hit-the-fan, but seeing the chapter end with the promise of the highest level fight in the series I can't help but get excited for what is about to unfold, even if I'm wary about this going into the action territory. Keima (finally!) showed some form of intelligence after so long. Him leading on Fiore into her demise was simply gold, and having gathered more info while having Vulcan get caught up and realizing that he's her ally made sure he ended up the one who profited the most from this situation. Now, the question is how will Vintage react to this? I very much doubt Fiore will actually manage to fight off a fully revived Goddess who's out to deal some divine wrath on her, but she still ended up sending that signal from Keima's house so he's now iin danger from future assaults (and by extension, Teniri/Diana) __________________
