Old and Incomplete info! Shielder was created even before the old anime was planned. She originally was planned to be the heroine in the original visual novel, but scrapped very early in development. And eventually just mentioned in Fate/side material. When anime was green-lighted they tried revive her from earlier plans for using in anime as mentioned in article, but she definitely wasn't created for the anime. It was just first attempt to give character another chance, but failed when anime turned to be adaptation of Fate route.

Way I understood it, she was originally going to be a Stray Servant in the F/SN game but was scrapped early on, with her character design being resurrected (and ultimately dropped) during the course of the production of the Deen anime. I never saw anything that explicitly stated that the totality of her character (class, personality, even identity) has stayed the same throughout.

from the tv pv it looks like you can have three Servants so are thay going to have events whare mutiple Servants interact with each other.

i personly want to see things that natsu wanted to do but was not able to do in the in stay night for example(Kinoko Nasu really wanted to have a scene in the Sakura route where she and Saber bickered with each other as they fought toward a common goal, heres some thing about Shielder. ( As Saber is a Servant of the Sword she was to be her rival as a Shielder Servant of the Shield Fate/Grand Order interview)

dont you mean saber alter with nomel saber it wont end well due to differing principles aka alignments (Saber is lawful good whareas gil is chaotic good)

Pretty sure Saber Alter is even less compatible with Gil.

Alter is Lawful Evil and i did not play Fate/Unlimited Codes while it was aveble and it is hard to find a us version now.

Unlimited Codes also has a scene where Gilgamesh is specifically turning Saber into Saber Alter if my memory serves, so I'm not sure that's a particularly trustworthy source.

the wiredest malti Servant event in all of type works wolud have to be Artoria and Nero event in All Around Type-Moon chapter 8 (Artoria is Lawful Good Nero is Chaotic Good) thay sudnot have gotin along so well. also another thing that shocked me is that Medusa is classafied as Chaotic Good i would have peged her as a True Neutral pre gorgon trasformation and Evil after gorgon trasformation.

In fate unlimited codes, Gil's winning quote says, "I have no use for one that has lost herself in despair. Go and drown yourself in your own darkness."

And in Gil's fate unlimited codes ending, Gil exposes Saber to the Grail substance slowly, turning her into Alter slowly and painfully while Gil rejoices in Saber's suffering.

Chaotic? Maybe, though he certainly seems to skew to a consistent mindset. Good? Not bloody likely. Neutral at best.

Guess she could be Galahad after all, but I really hope she isn't. If half the "guys" at the Round Table were secretly cute blonde teenage girls (Arturia, Mordred, etc.), then the twist starts to lose some of its impact.

Sure, but there are only 5 or 10 that most people would think of. Far as most people are concerned, once you get past Lancelot, Galahad, Gawain, Bedivere, Percival, Bors, and Mordred, you might as well be talking about Sir Robin the Brave (run awaaaay...) or Sir Not Appearing in This Film.

Nasu's idea of "Good" alignment is really screwed-up. Possibly he's taking it from the legend, but then that's not exactly compatible with Rider being Chaotic Good, so....
