This manga cover reminded me of the manga that name wolfsomething. That one was also about mediaval era and about some guy who apparently was possessed by a demon and try to block out a gate/

That guy is not possessed by a demon, he is just a normal human, but cruel and smart.

I think you mean the manga Wolfsmund, which is about a group of people who later became the nation of Switzerland ,who fought against Austrian occupation led by Wolfram. Also the whole possession thing is rubbish as it's just a poor excuse by Wolfram fans to make him look like a victim when he's nothing more than a cruel monster who enjoys hurting people beneath his station.

Spoiler for Wolfsmund later plot:

The whole possession thing came when after Wolfram is finally captured by the good guys, the Swiss rebels, he haughtily demands they release him to his master, the Duke of Austria, claiming his master will be merciful and will reward them if they do so. However, the rebels don't believe him since he's liar who never keeps his word since he and his master views commoners as bugs and not worthy for mercy and they want to punish him for all the crimes he has committed against the Swiss. Once he realizes he's going to be killed, the once proud Wolfram goes hysterical, claiming God will punish and send them to Hell if they kill him. And this is where the possession idea came which Wolfram fans think he was possessed by the Devil or something and the Swiss were killing an innocent man. However this is nothing but bull as that scene was meant to show how much of a hypocrite and coward Wolfram is since he proudly lied to his victims that he will show them mercy but never did and when it's the Swiss turn to show him no mercy, he gets scared since his sins are finally catching up to him and tries to make any excuse to be spared.
