Bit of an odd ending, and the final battle arc dragged on. Everything before that this season was an improvement over S1.

6/10

"Mr. Black" doesn't care about people. He could solve Knockers once and for all, but it would do no good to Fushi's learning and stimulation. He only cares about Fushi's growth. He only intervenes when Fushi stopped evolved. He doesn't say much except hinting he wants to disappear, and making a successor is important to him.

The cheerful guy after the credit is definitely the first human Fushi copied in Season 1 episode 1. The timeskip reminds me about wolf's rain.

As many other people, I think the tree in the ending song(root) symbolizes Fushi's growth and immortality is quite touching.

Before Fushi's going to long slumber, he tells the people who he revives to live well. Because their desire to live again, he tells them to go and live a fulfilling lives this time. March and Gugu disagrees and choose to die by Fushi's "graveyard". The reason is probalby Fushi's neglecting to revive March's sister and Gugu's childhood friend. Other people follow Fushi's words and live their lives well. The guy who chooses to end his life with alcohol poisoning has his reason, nevertheless.

Fushi didn't neglect to revive Parona and Rean, it's simply impossible for him to do it because they've long since moved on to Paradise. And Gugu decided to live until he got injured, only March was unable to accept life without Fushi. And it had nothing to do with Parona.

Paradise does not exist in the story. It only exists in the head of that cheerful silver hair boy. He says all adults went to paradise, but the reality is he is the last survivor of his village.

There is not much information to say about Rean. Parona was the sacrifice as March, but she somehow escaped her fate. Parona has lived all by herself until she met March. After March got tragically killed, Parona developed suicide tendency. However, she overcame the sorrow. If she is alive, she would find a way to cheer up March. Tonari does not know what to do, so she gives her poison to March instead.

Fushi has no intention to resurrect Eko(playing with the word neko), the Earthware girl. The humanity is cruel to her. Fushi keeps her soul by his side until the world becomes a better place.

Paradise does exist, Observer himself confirms it last season.
And best not to jump into conclusions either, as the next season also have more revelation on after life.
