Whether it was the voice acting or music, that trailer really did sell me on this. Just seems like a solid feel-good story. Someone who's life isn't awful, but isn't good either. That feeling of being a number and unappreciated is easy to sympathize with.
Just something to the idea that Saito doesn't seem to be getting OP powers to find happiness, but he'll find his happiness in being appreciated for who he is and the part he can play. The group as a whole seems good as well. Obvious love interest there, but the mage and fairy seem nice.

I'm sure that I'm going to love this anime, first chapter was great. Not need of OP MC isekai, just a normal handyman that can be really useful with his skills in that world.
The party is cool too, an old but OP mage that forgets things, a fairy that charges you for anything and a cool female knight in love with our mc, plus all their levels are all over the place. That and there are other characters that they will interact in the future, lookin foward to it. |

So, the Pre-screening didn't have that "Maderaka" part in it, which seems odd.
Also, since there are two Sub sources, they are applying censorship differently (which is noticeable in the "Maderaka" & the "Senile Mage" part)

I kinda like that about it. Not everything needs a solid linear storytelling method, it's interesting to experience it in segments. Reminds me of watching Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, I was rather confused at first lol

For some reason the segmented storytelling style is kinda putting me off from liking this thing, although I really am interested in where the story would go.
Would probably still give this another episode.

I didn't mind the storytelling style for this one. Kind of fun to jump around a bit. Can focus on establishing the cast, Saito's past, and not necessarily have to bend over backwards to make it all work in a more standard approach. Especially since if they did I imagine they would have had to rush some things to get to a nice stopping point for the first episode.
If that's the whole show it could be a bit much. But for the first episode I think it works. Good way to cover a wide area. Have a good understanding of some side characters like that Dwarf and the Item Shop girl. But also the personalities and connections between the party members. Already enjoying the ship between Raelza and Saito. Love that she went there in a random suit of armor just to see what Saito was getting up to with that girl ![]()

The chapter felt too short. I'm enjoying this a lot.
Lol seems that raelza has a serious rival with blacksmith girl, she should be careful since she wants her dead xD. We met another party. I think these are setting for a big arc at the end were all those parties joing together for something. I would say for a demon king attack but it seems that he is a nice fella. |

Man that shop girl is uncomfortably keen on killing Raelza. Might be worth being a bit cautious about anything she offers the party
![]() Man that Priest and Elf pair have quite the fetish filled situation going on. But hey at least they are both getting something out of this arrangement. One side loves the feeling of magic being cast on them and the other...has her own fetish. I'm with the monster on this one. Those two create quite the scene there. Tough spot for Lafa. She's basically forced to be intensely keen on money. It's the only choice she has. But of course she doesn't want to beg for money either. If she can get it through services provided that's enough for her. Raelza is one heck of a girl though. Pretty darn capable in a lot of ways, but also ready to make tough choices. Can bet she really wants to get that scar healed and that's party why she hides her face as much as she can. But if it's between that or permanently losing Saitou...it doesn't take more than a moment to decide what is more precious to her.
