The tempo was weird this episode. The various clips had a negative effect to the flow of the plot this time.

Yes, Raelza is Morloks step-daughter (though, she does not like his last name). He actually had an actual daughter but...

I don't think ninja has to be stopped. If gang drive him and his pals to corner someone gonna ends hurt or even dead. If they were willin retreat then that itself is win. Sure they will kill someone else eventually maybe even lot, but it's not like anyone maybe bar hero group has responsibility to gamble own life for people they don't know.

The people he would be killing would probably be them just when they were alone or in small groups.

Yeah, pretty much. His plan obviously was to pick the small groups off one by one, luckily he got foiled. Sad backstory aside, he is a murderer who wants to kill the other adventurers for no good reason other than he thinks they might loot the stuff he need.

I'm sure that no matter how villainous the actions, in typical anime fashion they'll end up talking and helping him with his quest to save the witch. Anime protags are always quick to forgive and forget, no matter how bad the scorched earth is behind the antagonist lol

Now we know the chrome/morlock story. Tragic but between work and family there is only one right choice.

I guess it should supose to be funny that after he stopped the time he forgot what he has to do, but come one, just a quick glance and you can put two and two together.

It's nice to have the backstory, but boy did this episode waste time by stretching out scenes, especially in the battle segment.

Quick Saito! Use Realza's shield to summon something. Just make sure no possessed biblical figure kills her.

Morlock is the typical incarnation of couldn't see the most important thing right in front of him because of a shiny distraction.

No wonder he took Realza in, from the way she looks she could as well be his daughter. Or is his daughter and wasn't dead after all...

That's brutal. Morlock was so focused on one thing that he couldn't stop and look around himself. I'm sure his intentions weren't simply for his own pride or reputation and that he did truly want to give his family a better life. But everything was lost before he could understand it.

Supernatural being was kind of a jerk. Yes, he wanted to feel better. And he could feel better if you just taught him the darn time travel spell! Freaking useless godly beings. Just made the situation even more tragic.

Without another cut showing Raelza's past it's hard to put everything together with certainty. But doesn't seem like she could be an actual relative to Morlock. He was already well old by the time his daughter died. Maybe he just ran into her and convinced himself she was a relative? But if he did pull Saito from his world I wonder what he was thinking. Just randomly trying out a spell in that book while not knowing what it would do?

If the ninja and company were all sacrificed to summon that thing then maybe we don't have to worry about the story taking time to deal with them later. Presumably they'd just be gone after that thing is killed. Though who knows.

I really doubt that the assassin will give up his life to help the witch and this is more of a test from the prime minister to see if he is genuine. I would be against it but oh well, I'm sure too that he will atone in some other way and work for the king or something.

I'm still betting that he's not actually going to die. Just some play on words. That he has to tie his life to the witch or something like that. Not that he actually has to die. I guess we'll see how it plays out though. Maybe he will die. Or at least maybe the demons will stay banished so he does pay some kind of price for the trouble he's caused.

But I guess if Morlock has regained or started to regain his memories then it's not all bad. Some gains to be had in that respect.

Guess we'll have a chat eventually if he has regained his memories about Saitou's situation. Both in terms of why he was brought there at all and whether he'll stay or go home. Obviously stay is the most believable since there isn't much reason for Saitou to want to go back. But we'll see.

I cannot imagine why he'd want to go home, except for maybe family. All the flashes we've seen of his Earth life was pretty depressing. Plus, in this world, you have a babe like Raelza hot for you. That lone would make it super easy for me to shrug off my Earth life, lol

The show/story is trying to be too melodramatic/moral at times. Those last lines trying to draw a contrast between the Ninja and Saito were a huge Meh, really? for me.

Want to be dramatic? Kill the ninja.

It would've been fitting is he leaves and the witch remains without remembering him but he got his happy ending, undeserved in my opinion but oh well.

That was one hell of a confession from raelza while killing that armored snake.

And that ending I didn't saw that coming. Thank god is 12 chapters. I would've cry if that was the ending.

Man... Saitou's reaction to that was so milquetoast. A beauty like her is basically giving you her heart and you're response is... I wanna stay, because here is where I'm needed? I'd have had her in my arms in a heartbeat, lol, telling her lines like I don't care about my home world because this world has her

Though I dunno why I get my hopes up for things like that, this kind of non reaction from guys in anime is pretty much bog standard.
