(CR) The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague

It's incredibly flattering and sweet when the girl you fancy is still using your gift, even in public at the office! And Fuyutsuki even brought his attention it, like she's practically flaunting it !

I was hoping Himuro had kept the earrings. Luckily he's got his snowmen wingmen egging him on to finally give them to Fuyutuski .

Nothing like a storm to lead to an all-guy and all-girl sleepover! We even get to see the guys finally playing games like in the OP! Though Himuro is obviously stuck thinking of Fuyutuski .

I'm glad Himuro didn't get to see Fuyutsuki playing boyfriend for Komori, although Fuyutsuki is so naturally charming that I can imagine any guy or girl falling for her .

Otonashi points out the obvious about how Komori basically has a boyfriend in Saejima, they've even apparently started going out for lunch together (it definitely didn't look like they just happened to meet up there), and Komori's shaky denials and looks at Otonashi tell the real story about how she feels about Saejima .

I kind of feel bad for Katori though. It really doesn't seem like Otonashi takes his feelings or confessions seriously. Though when Komori pressed her on it, Otonashi got a little more flustered...

So Fuyutsuki has never been in love before, so she doesn't really recognize what her feelings for Himuro are, though the way she looks from her texts from him says everything that needs to be said about her love for him .

Becoming a girl to join in on a sleepover with cute girls getting drunk...mighty tempting .

Fuyutsuki is a dedicated daughter! Rather than go out for herself, she'd rather spend her birthday taking her parents out to dinner to honor them giving birth to her. That's so sweet .

Fuyutuski is very popular around the office so Himuro doesn't get a lot of opportunities with her, but finally he manages to snag a nighttime walk with her complete with his anxiety and nervousness giving Fuyutuski a beautiful frozen landscape to bask in. Of course her appreciating that is enough to finally give Himuro enough courage to give her her birthday gift .

She immediately put on the earrings! She looks amazing in them! And they remind her immediately of Himuro! Not to mention she wore them to dinner with her parents! And now Himuro can look forward to a birthday gift from her !

"Um...would you live to live with me?" Well, now there's a cliffhanger. Although judging by the playground background, I'm guessing he's saying it to a dog or an animal .

I thought himuro was going to wait longer to give the earrings but I guess is fine. It was a good moment.

I wonder too who he asked to live with him, yeah it may be a cat.

I love how Komori is listening in with her fox ears perked up. Of course she's also the type to overhear something and then completely misunderstand it in true romcom fashion. Better be careful lest you earn more of Himuro's wrath .

Himuro really wants to adopt a stray cat! Down to praying to Nyamero's whiskers, training with a cat plushie, or continually following said stray cat! Meanwhile Saejima is thinking to himself how crazy his co-workers are .

A stray cat is the perfect thing for Himuro and Fuyutsuki to bond over! She can even be his cat-parent Senpai! They can even make finding the stray cat as another chance for them to spend more time together and enjoy the nighttime air and view together !

That moment when you're jealous of how smooth your love interest is with a cat and also jealous that you can't be a cat so she can be that smooth with you .

Well, the stray cat was a bit of a bust because it already had an owner...but Himuro got to hear Fuyutsuki describe him as a good man and an invitation to her place! Finally !

Yukimi in PJ's! And she too has the talking snowmen who pop up cutely when she's flustered .

Himuro has not only entered the sacred land of Fuyutsuki's apartment, seen her in a hairband, but also got to meet Nyamero! He's on cloud 9! Which also unlocked Diamond Dust Himuro !

How like a cat to completely ignore it's toy and jump into the box it came on. That's legit .

Himuro and Fuyutsuki's hands touch each other and Fuyutsuki recoiled...but not the bad kind of recoil! Honest! It's just because she's thrown off from her own feelings for him, though before they can really unpack that, of course Yukimi shows up. Apparently she and Fuyutsuki have been hanging out off-screen this whole time. And of course her brother is only finding out about this now .

Well, Yukimi kind of ruined the mood a little, but they still had a fun time and Himuro was able to win over Nyamero and now Fuyutsuki wants to visit their place. Now I'm just imagining her meeting their parents and them embracing her as their future daughter-in-law .

I love how Saejima and Komori team-up to tease Himuro about what happened. The couple that teases together, as they say .

Looks like Fuyutsuki and Himuro are taking a work trip together? What romantic hijinks will they get up to there ?

*sigh* Yukimi being the classic annoying little sister character that gets in the way. How I've not missed this trope.

Anyway...diamond dust? Are we going to see Himuro wearing the Cygnus cloth by the end of the series?

In her defense she realized she was killing her brothers' mood and tried to leave before the sweets came up .

Not a surprise that it was a cat, too bad for himuro but at least something good came from it and he could visit nyamero and fuyutsuki.

Indeed that yukimi ruined things but at least she isn't going to get in the way trying to stop them to get together. At least she knew she was interrupting and wanted to leave.

She's also not in love with her brother, which already makes her better then her contemporaries by several... hundred country miles.

I love how Himuro's snowmen basically say all the gushy stuff about Fuyutsuki Himuro thinks internally .

At this point I half-imagine all those matching sets they own will become family heirlooms after they get hitched .

Gotta love Buddha being your wingman! Sure it makes sense to send the two people in charge of the project on an overnight trip together, but we all know Chief Budda knows what's up .

Nyamero likes Himuro, which gives Fuyutsuki more reason to invite him over to her place !

Well, plans for a romantic dinner for two are nice and all...but Himuro came under the weather and reverts back to his child form. Although it didn't completely kill the romance since he got to hold hands with Fuyutsuki, sleep in her room, and even accidentally pin her to the bed .

Man, Fuyutsuki is an Angel! Taking such care of Himuro when he's sick and in that state, sleeping on the sofa so Himuro can use the bed, and even writing a report so Himuro wouldn't have to. Of course she does have normal human desires, as you can see in how shaken up she got when she and Himuro were on the bed together .

Think clean thoughts Himuro! As appealing as staring at a sleeping Fuyutsuki is .

What romance anime is complete without cherry blossoms? And they bring things full circle with Himuro and Fuyutsuki walking to the spot where they first met. Thanks to meeting Himuro Fuyutsuki has become far more than a stoic, cool, female colleague and thanks to meeting Fuyutsuki Himuro has been able to live a more normal life than he'd ever imagined. It has been a pretty eventful (and romantic) year for these two .

Nice to see the gang welcome them back and so we can end on a flower viewing party! Highlights including Komori slapping Saejima with her tail while she's tipsy, Otonashi rejecting poor Katori for the umpteenth time, Yukimi getting in her brothers' way, and Fuyutsuki and Himuro's hands touching once more. Not to mention the visual delight of snow mixed in with the cherry blossoms !

They shouldn't had that moment in the bed with him as a little kid. Her taking care of him as a little kid sure, but not that.

It was a good anime, I would like a second season.

Anyways guess that's the season, not sure if there will be more but it was an alright show, too bad they couldn't even get as far as a kiss though.

This show actually was rated a 7 to me (moderate enjoyment) at the start due to worries that it would get repetitive. However, somehow that little thing they added to the eyes—the wavering look—was a perfect detail in this show about an externally cool couple. Every moment Himuro and Fuyutsuki looked at each other made each swelteringly hot day here more comfy. That said, I do think that revisiting shota-Himuro felt like a weird place to end at.

Not quite so good as I was hoping. The characters and their interactions are very wholesome, but also bland and undeveloped. The rose-tinted picture of a modern workplace is also the polar opposite of Aggretsuko, which more sensibly noted that training courses in Okinawa or Hawaii went out with the ark and the bubble economy.
