I believe it's still Hirano Aya, or at least she sounds like it.

At last, proper animation for the OP! Now I can definitely say this is my favorite OP from °.

Terrific developments in this episode once again. The shinsengumi was disbanded and Kondou got sentenced to death. With the shogun dying recently, all bets are off.

I loved how they revealed the title of the arc and the episode at the very end of the episode (it was the same in the manga).

Now if only Crunchyroll had kept those two things hidden from the episode title. I imagine anime-only viewers must have been very shocked.

Edit: Finally got the chance to watch the entire episode. Man, the art was amazing. Those expressions hit hard. This was pretty much a perfect adaptation. Was the soundtrack during the preview new as well? I pre-ordered the OST for this season, so I'm going to be flippin' stoked if all of these latest tracks are on it.

Thanks god there is not many filler in gintama like Naruto, or we will get filler in middle of arc

And I like new op scene, and finally I understand what the point of phone ring in it

Thing is the "filler" in this case would be the random stupid adventures that Gintama is known for, which are always fun to watch. It's a shame that they skipped over some arcs such as the "Finding Ikumatsu's Father" arc or the "Yoshiwara Love Potion" arc.

Here's a good news for you.

It was announced that the Love Potion arc will be released in a 2 part DVD bundled with manga vol. 65 (Aug 2016) and vol. 66 (Nov 2016).

Filler start in middle of battle....

Gin Vs Takasugi > 15++~ episodes filler > back to Gin Vs Takasugi

And filler = anime original.

They don't need fillers mid-arcs. And yes, either adapted or anime original, who cares? Gintama is Gintama. At least no filler arcs... I guess.

Nobunobu is total scum. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who cheered when Gintoki hit him. I cheered even harder when Zura saved everybody. His long stand-by is finally over, shit is going to hit the fan soon.

What a fun episode, I laughed and got emotional in a few scenes. Animation quality has been pretty good these episodes too. My favorite part had to be Gintoki punching that jack ass in the face, score

Next weeks episode looks like it will be another good one. I like the music for the preview too
