Whats the new goal for the novel? if i am not mistaken EU/IU was defeated and Aria's mother is free
and what the heck is going on with the harem? like Kinji has sooooo many girls in this harem but he's officialy Aria's boyfriend or the couple thing is a secret for all the others?

Also the Ability Scarlet Ammo was the one when Aria was possed with a God?

Currently, IU's defeat and the end of the Bandire has caused the appearance of a group named N (Nautilus) who have a past with Kinji's father. Now that Aria has taken on the power of the Scarlet Ammo, N wants to split the world back into divisions and is using dna they've taken from Kinji's father to create artificial siblings who they plan to use to fight with those with Godlike power such as current Aria and Kou. Meanwhile, Kinji himself is attempting to solve a problem with a class at Butei High he needs to retake which inadvertently leads him to go to Rome and gets him involved with N many times.

I've gathered this information from small tidbits we know about recent volumes.

what about kinji and aria, have they broken up already or still together?

Not entirely sure. Pretty sure they're still together but Sherlock is trying to keep her safe.

Edit: Volume 28 is 緋弾のアリアXXVIII 絶島の珊瑚礁
The title says something about a coral reef and an island.
The short summary also says something about Kinji, having saved his imouto and now fighting Nemo. It also mentions some island.

That's true. So far, Aria had solid fan base which make it afloat and even stand higher than other more prominent novel or known novel, which is probably thanks to their anime adaptation.

I just wish that aria would be animate again. It would be cool to see the battle against sherlock.
