Why am I the only one to be geeked over mana producing miss wakeshima kanon? This, to me, is what malice mizer could of been if female fronted. I think the ed is so fitting for the series. I am in lust with the gothic feel of the series and even more so the ed. If they change the ed, it better be more kick-ass than this one...

I don't think there is any specified amount of time. So far, I've notice great variations as to when OSTs are released. Some are released fairly quickly, while others seem to take longer. I suppose it all depends as to how much music make up the OST; they have to have a sufficient amount to release an entire CD (the OP, ED and musical scores). Singles are released earlier than the entire album, but that again is never really the same length of time for any one anime. Example, shows that have just started airing this Spring have already had some OPs and EDs released, while others who have begun around the same week still have no singles released thus far.
If you are asking because you are curious as to when Vampire Knight will release their singles or the OST, so far, I've found no info about their releases.

As Ive said in the general thread several times, Im in love with the ED of this but it still creeps the hell outta me It fits the anime very nice though. Im still not loving the OP but I do like the background music. Organ music ftw.

I guess I'm on the other side of the fence then.

I like the OP song more than the ED song. While it's not "mind blowing", it fits well with this type of series. On the other hand, the ED song just isn't clicking with me. While it does seem to fit, I'm just not loving it. I guess you can say it's not my cup of tea.

I really liked the Opening Song slightly more. Isn't it Futatsu no Koudou to Akai Tsumi by On/Off? I didn't realize it was as short, there were no cuts...I'm not entirely sure. But even with a few repitions (ochite, ochite, ochite= falling, falling, falling) I still loved how there was slightly any difference from the two male voices...I forget their names...>_<

The OP and ED songs certainly fit the gothic feel of the series but it's not something I'm gonna be listening to on a regular basis unlike the OP from Junjou Romantica and the EDs for Macross F as an example. At least, the songs don't sound as bad as the OP for Special A.

Especially the "you still do not answer" part *shivers*

But I also really like the other song that come with the album as well...the style reminds me of a toned down Ali project
