Spoiler for Spoiler: deliberately pushed the man she loved to hate her, so he wouldn't miss her absence, then sacrified herself to resurrect Shiruo. She's the true hero of this story. Fortunately, it all end well, even if the author had to pull a big fat deus ex machina for it to happen.
