Aoyama-kun would disagree.

Marathoned all 9 eps recently, a hilarious 'absurdly popular clueless boy' series. Has anyone compared it to Honda-kun yet? He even had a guardian yandere just like Mocha.

Twice in about 2 minutes, taking full advantage of her innocent face. That was funny.

LOL At anyone trying to get female relationship advice from Aoyoma. The results were expected. The reasons why the girls like him is that they see him as a trophy from afar. No one has really gone out on a date with him, and probably the only person capable of going on a date with him is Odagiri. However, she is too aloof to even think about that.

Aloof? I would say clueless, if anything - and I think there are hints she has thought about it...

and that's a huge deal
also we already know that Aoyama wants to make normal things too, even if he isn't that interest in love now (from what we got from his online persona)

lol, even the football god is in love with Aoyama.
I'm not going to fall for the episode's epilogue again. Despite looking like that the next episode will be Aoyama focused, that will never happen.

Viewers with long memories will note that this wasn't the first time Souichiro Hoshi has belted out that ED...

False. Moka is not like the other girls either. Yes, she adores him, but her adoration is not the sort of fangirl worship the other girls give him. She knows him relatively well, recognizes his strengths AND his weaknesses. And while the other girls are content to stand on the sidelines shouting his name without any real interest in getting close, Moka has made real effort to reach him, learning to maintain cleanliness at almost his standards and not just trying soccer but actually mastering it to the point where she's able to stand her ground against everyone except for Aoyama himself. This is not a fangirl, it's a girl in love who's doing her best to reach him. That, and a budding yandere.

I'm already missing this show. Overall I say that this is one of the few comedy shows that well adapted into an anime. Honestly it was one of the better shows this season and I would recommend people to watch it.
One thing, unlike other shows all characters to me are likeable.

what a really bad mother and wife leaving her husband and childrens for the sake of "randomness", yeah only on japan you can find that sort of parents

i really feel that serie was a sort of "sakamoto-kun 2.0, because the serie was more about the "peoples around the mc" than the mc he was more like a tool to develop others characters while himself aways was a mistery, like "where aoyama live??? where his parents???, this serie is a lot like sakamoto serie was, but this don't means which was bad because sakamoto-kun was fun and that serie too, it was really fun.

And right till the end, this series is criminally underappreciated. What a hidden gem it turned out to be.

'Handa-kun' would be a really good show for anyone who liked this series to watch. Same kind of ensemble comedy around a idolised student, only even funnier because Handa's always freaking out about it.

The mother did go and do voluntary work. I rather suspected she wouldn't be dead in this sort of show, at least the grave wasn't the family dog.

Really funny series, nice dramatic ending.
