Agreed. Really is a good series as a whole, but this really exemplifies how powerfully a series can be made even better with the smart and savvy use of audio. And this is not even a case of "covering up other shortcomings" of the series proper in my opinion, it only helped make the material even more powerful.

I would say the sound design on this show was as good as any anime I've ever seen - and frankly, that may be understating the case.

Another great series from an utterly fantastic 2007.

I think the ending was weak and really pulled the show down. However even I could not say anything bad about the audio. It was obvious that they put a lot of time and money into making the out of body experiences stand out.
