This one looks right up my alley. I like this pure fantasy (not isekai) stories not focused on your typical RPG/fantasy action.

Giving the trailer a look while pondering the next season, I have to say this looks good to me. Obviously the whole "getting kicked out of a party" thing has been on a roll lately. But I like the concept of this one more than most. A small group that have all suffered betrayals and losses coming together just feels good.

The setup is obvious, but I like how it can work. These people that can't really trust anyone are reaching out one last time. Trying to put their faith into others that have suffered in similar ways and are thus less likely to betray them.

They're a nice group. I especially like the witch with a gambling problem and her dynamic with the rogue. I'd ship it but I get the feeling the lizard girl is the one who'll be winning that one.

First episode is out and eh, I have mixed feelings on it.

Characters feels like they're actors and some of their emotions feels forced. Story didn't seem impressive either but I'll stick around to see how much more it will improve.

Hmm, I suspected this might be an issue but I think they tried to cram too much into the first episode. I've not read the LN but I think the way the manga handled it was better but as with anything that's up to debate. Hopefully it's smoother sailing going forwards since I rather like this series - it's not amazing but it's quite nice.
