It has taken an approach Ive never seen a series about reincarnation take before.
The way its written it reminds me of Dracula with some really amazing moments and quirky characters that deserve all my praise.

Finished reading up to current and was a great series, thanks for the suggestion.

I actually felt the MC was justified with quite a few of his actions, the writing style is written to border along the moral theme though so sometimes he goes pretty extreme... a good mix of comedy in with it as well.


Almost all the nobles: "Sure we all kill slaves in unreasonable fits of anger but ONLY you're the evil bastard because you kill too many!"


In some ways the MC and writing style has some similarities to weakest maou. n4046bv Though that one is a lot more tame and the MC chooses his sacrifices more carefully.

The writing is terribly inconsistent at time but bear is cute, so I forgive it! The plot itself is average and slow but bear is cute, so I still read it.

Suppose I can recommend another, specifically a certain tiger would probably like it. Although this one went from Nocturne to Narou, so some content is missing, if you will.

Summary:

Shimon Kurando, manual laborer and college student, is browsing a dating site when he sees a stunning girl calling herself a princess asking for help on her profile. When he decides to check it out, he's summoned to another world...except that the summon location had just been ravaged by a giant monster, and the princess' guards mistake his identity in the confusion and toss him in jail to await execution before he's even had time to get a grasp on anything that was going on.

Kurando is a goddamn moron. Just want to get that out the way right now. His methods never show cleverness or even common courtesy, with most of the cast in this underdeveloped medieval fantasy world clearly being smarter and wiser than him. Throughout his journey, he makes no effort to learn how to read the new world's writing, practice with a sword, or really do anything that would be considered smart and generally just lucks out most of the time in the end. Very, very rarely does he show signs of being from modern Japan and being a college student.

To top it off, he's a sex maniac. He will constantly sexually harass women and given the chance, will sleep with them without a second thought despite already having plenty of women he's married to, although there was the literally one exception where he willingly didn't take up the offer. He doesn't do rape; he just comes onto them really strongly. He also doesn't mind if they were just trying to kill him up until a couple hours prior. Yeah. He planned to have a harem from the start, but the plan was "bang as many women as possible, ????, harem!" Apparently he's gotten fired before when he was on Earth for doing this stuff.

Kurando, as a "hero", was summoned with an incomplete magic seal that essentially just gives him superhuman regeneration. Now, this doesn't make him overpowered, or unkillable at all. At the start, he has no idea how to manipulate the regeneration to make it more efficient and nearly bleeds to death several times because the source of mana (the princess) would often run out. And being from modern Japan, he has no idea how to fight and is very weak. However, throughout the story, he abuses this regeneration by pushing his muscles beyond the limit and they regenerate as they tear, making them stronger. In the latest chapters, he has extraordinary strength (and he's still described as having shoddy sword skills, though), although one of his wives is a beastgirl who's still stronger. There's probably only one other human in the story introduced so far that's physically stronger than him, although many people can beat him in a fight since they actually know what they're doing.

What his regeneration seal can do aside from just pure healing isn't very clear, but while it can prevent a magic poison equal to a wyvern's poison, it doesn't stop him from getting turned into a frog or petrified.
His goals are simply go dungeon diving and bang women. He's a pretty simple guy.

He also develops other powers that have yet to be really be explained, just showing even stronger abilities on the brink of death, or able to view certain memories of someone who's just died. Though the former has happened like once or twice, and the latter has happened like 3 times, with 2 of them being useless and just making him feel like a piece of shit.

Also, the seal prevents him from being able to use magic. He's a strength swordsman/tank through and through.

Yes it's a harem, of course it is. The majority of his harem are high class nobles backgrounds with only one exception. He currently has 14 wives and has had more relationships than that, and has even more girls that like him that he hasn't had a relationship with. He also adopted 31 half-elf former slave young girls to live with him, because why not.

One thing to note is that the princess so far hasn't been important. The author jokingly calls her the main heroine and while she's strongly related to the protagonist's regeneration abilities, she's interacted with the protagonist a whole twice in the 238 chapters that there are and both were for but brief moments. The author does joke that she'll be important, eventually. Maybe.

One thing to note is apparently the seal lets her control whether or not he's able to get women pregnant, which she's had set off since the beginning chapters. Kurando isn't really sure how to feel about that since some of his wives do want to have kids, and he doesn't really have a way to contact the princess to ask her to let him be able to.

Also, him being from another world and all the details about his regeneration power is kept a secret even to the wives, although 3 of them know (and 1 girl who he hasn't seen since the start of the story) since they originally got involved with him because he was summoned as a hero.

Spoiler for Plot stuff:

At the start, it's just escape the prison he's in and go to the town where he can go dungeon diving. The beginning chapters are generally darker than normal and don't end all that happily, but it eventually straightens out. He constantly has assassins after him because he was originally summoned to help the princess out with her political struggle, but he only learns of this way later on when even assassins have given up on him.

The plot is so far dungeon diving while dealing with random events/trouble that pop up, as well as plenty of slice of life stuff. In the dungeon the protagonist is fighting, there's bosses every 10 floors that guard a sacred relic item that he plans to collect. The only reason they haven't been collected is because the bosses are unnecessary to proceed, and most of the adventurers get baptized by the level 10 boss and barely manage to escape. From there on, they generally just skip the bosses. The protagonist has currently beaten 2 of them, and has 3 relics (one of his wives came with one).

And for the record, there are male characters that occasionally pop up and the protagonist can even call friends, although I'm sure you can understand they get the backseat for the female characters.

Not the most complicated story, but the author does build things up early on and use them much later on. It's overall a decent-to-fun read in my book.
