The long-lasting Hydra battle just concluded and it was pretty goddamn good. I just love the scenario where the characters have had the solution all along (so not an ass-pull) but understandably and realistically don't realize it. While I'm sure some people could've come to the same conclusion it personally didn't cross my mind. Always like a good self-searching monologue, too. But since this conclusion is too nice and complete I'm expecting some less happy events to happen soon.
And then you have the hero who awakens to abilities right when he needs them.

Potential? Lily references are also always nice.

The hero is just a normal guy really good at fighting, basically.
His leadership skills are shit, he has no charisma to arouse morale, and he isn't very good at relating with people and getting to know them. That said, he isn't a negative, just not a positive and does generally try to think things through, just unsuccessfully. When presented with a problem he's conflicted on dealing with, he just doesn't deal with it.

His sister, however, is a complete negative outside of fights. She lowers spirits with constant accusations, is incapable of using her head and only uses her pent-up emotions from not being able to fuck her brother, constantly drags out the conclusions to problems with goalless and meaningless arguments, and has even become a reliable unwitting accomplice in the attempt to murder the entire class including herself. She also wants to destroy the entire livelihood they built up over the weeks just in case they're somehow dangerous, sending them back to the stone age.
Even in fights she doesn't use her full potential. She has an automatic barrier but hides behind people without any such defense, and has chosen not to provide backup to certain people on occasion despite being able to.

Is it explained what's the actual purpose of the dungeon and why they are there and what's the deal the GM.

The whole dungeon purpose hasn't been clearly explained, but it's clearly a trial grounds of sort. The initial premise of the dungeon is summoned people get powers, train against gradually stronger monsters as they progress, and at the end 3 of them can warp out to some Kingdom where presumably other shit will be explained.

I don't think it's said who (if anyone) summoned the whole class but some gods are taking advantage of it. Kingdom might've summoned them? Their class is apparently on the pretty talented side, as most people who try to get a class/job from a god like they did die in the process. Only one person in their class died from attempting it.

Kotori's god has been giving her rule-breaking information and she's been manipulating the outcome of groups and whatnot with it. Her god specifically wants the hero boy to be the victor, and believes he'll awaken to his true abilities if all his loved and close ones die. Hence why Kotori tried to kill everyone but herself and hero. Kotori behaves like a GM and is acting like one due to the abilities and information from her god, but she became a GM -after- the teleport and it's not like she's been running the show from the start. Basically she's just calling herself that.

Kotori frames her attempted genocide attempt on Momokawa and he uses a teleport circle to escape along with the gyaru geomancer. So they started back in a noob zone along iwth the last stranded classmate and have been working their way back through the dungeon.

Kotori has an ability to manipulate emotions and is using it to prevent Mei from doing anything by sapping her motivation. So she's just kinda lethargic doing nothing, and didn't go with Momokawa due to it. However, this is taking up all of that ability's resource and can't manipulate anyone else while she's restraining Mei. Not that she needs to with Sakura constantly unwittingly helping her.
King gets teleported by Kotori to a Quarantine Zone before betraying Momokawa because he was the most likely to get in the way of her dinner event and is smarter than the rest of the class idiots save for Momokawa. So he ends up at a broken Fairy Fountain that's all infected or corrupted or some shit and full of monsters. As king has an ability to get power from shit he kills, sending him to an area with powerful monsters and expecting him to just die seems really dumb.

I like how in his entire reasoning regarding the innocent of Momokawa, he didn't mention how dumb it was for him to stand there and laugh like a comic villain instead of taking precautions.
Though I suppose they might not have been very conscious at the time that was going on.
